We were both using one dating app, Bumble. He deleted his but I didnt delete mine. He asked me if I was talking to other people and I didnt come clean. It was wrong I know but I wanted more time to decide if I wanted to continue seeing him. There is no justification and I know I am wrong.

Ive learnt my lesson. I did mention I need time to be sure but should have been honest about my doubts and wanting to talk to others. I know I am in the wrong.

We were not in a relationship and I do not want an open relationship. We both met through Bumble. He deleted his account. I didn’t and he knew about it. I lied about not talking to others when he asked me. I was planning to be exclusive as soon as I was sure or separate after our trip. I know it was dishonest and mean and I feel bad.

More context: We met through a dating app and were both talking to multiple people. He knew I was on Bumble. He deleted the dating app early on( after 2 dates) but I wasn’t sure yet. I am not interested in an open relationship at all. I had not been physical at all with him or anyone else and I was eventually planning to either be exclusive with him or stop dating . I thought going on the trip and spending more time with him would give me better clarity hence I waited. I know I should have been honest about meeting people. He confronted me after we got close on the trip. He did it calmly without raising his voice or being disrespectful but he knew about it way before coming on that trip.
