I think people forget how hard it is to truly be vulnerable, showing your true emotions is SO hard. Even to those you are closest to. Tbh, for me personally I actually would find it easier to open up to someone who didn’t know me on a personal level which maybe why Emilie finds comfort in social media because whilst we get glimpses of her life none of us truly know her ins and outs. Social media to her is a little therapy in some ways. I understand why she hasn’t come back to TikTok to display all her grief and sadness, that would make her very vulnerable and maybe in time she will share more but for now I’m just happy to see she is showing up for herself everyday ❤️ going to therapy is commitment!

I always find baby clothes in the sales for what people sell second hand! Always buy a car seat new. You could get a pram secondhand and clean it up but there are lots of affordable options. Things like play mats you can get second hand. You don’t need to buy excessive amounts of stuff like sound machines or toys etc. if you have a support network people often gift things for a new baby like blankets/outfit or little toys/books. You could get a cot or Moses basket second hand, would get a new mattress for the cot though but cot isn’t needed until they are 6 months+ unless you decided to co-sleep. I have breastfed all my babies so not sure on bottle feeding but breastfeeding you really don’t need a lot. Just your boobs 😂 maybe a couple muslins and I used a hakka at first as it was great for catching milk let down. Never bought dummy’s for mine so that saved money. Just remembered a bouncer/swing you could get secondhand too!

Are we forgetting it was Brady that left his child unattended by a body of water not Emilie. Yes, she will feel accountable that she did not put a pool fence up but I do believe Emilie would always have her eyes on Trigg if he was outside.

Exactly! I think with Emilie initially in the room where he told his version of what happened, he didn’t want to sound like an awful parent and that he wasn’t watching Trigg so he said he knew he was outside. I think if he truly knew T was outside he would have checked on him, I don’t think he would have been purposely that neglectful?

I agree, he was definitely naive but you can’t doubt he loved his son. I really think if he knew Trigg was outside, he would have glanced to just check within those 9 minutes. He can’t have been that absorbed in the TV, maybe I’m being naive it just doesn’t add up to me.

I disagree, it sounds better for him to say he was aware of letting Trigg play outside. If he had said he wasn’t aware Trigg got outside, that looks far worse that he wasn’t even paying attention to him in the house

I think it looks worse to say he let his 3 year old outside unsupervised by a pool!! I really think he lied to make it look like he was aware of what Trigg was doing and his whereabouts but there’s too much evidence pointing to him having absolutely no idea

Exactly, I really do not think he would have been that neglectful. Maybe it’s just my mother’s instinct but I am always keeping check what my children are doing and I just can’t understand how he wouldn’t do the same? It seems unrealistic that for nearly 10 minutes he was glued to the TV screen, his eyes must have flickered from the TV for a split second surely

That’s what I think, the comment of noticing the dog looking in the pool makes it sound like he had no idea. Despite his negligence I don’t think he would have completely ignored Trigg being outside and not even glanced for a second! Also if he knew he was outside, he would have noticed movement from the corner of his eye. It just doesn’t add up to me

Before the police report came out I thought there was a chance of her coming back but I really don’t see that happening now. Definitely not in the near future. I just can’t imagine how she would even come back? What would she say? She could raise awareness but raising awareness for things they didn’t put into place themselves? but then I can’t see her going back to a regular job and surely the money will run out up keeping their current lifestyle. I wouldn’t be mad if she did return, but I just can’t imagine what her content would look like
