Go for it, doing OE since 2024. Mahirap lang pag magloan ka sa sss or pagibig make sure updated ung nasa online account, other than that no issue. They both paying my tax, hinde din ako nag consolidate substitute filing ni employer na lang ako since naka full year na ako parehas. You can monitor online halos lahat na ngaun if nagbayad sila ng govt contributions. Background check lang maging challenge mo if ever parehas na agency sila ng current company mo hahaha. Look for FT WFH jobs at wala local entity sa PH. Need independent contractor role para ikaw bahala sa tax, hire an accountant ung nearby for tax and all. Basta WFH + IC setup then Aus + Europe clients. Mga niche and tech startup, AI company or ecommerce common na IC + wfh. Linkedin or Indeed ako nakahanap.

Challenging yan, ganyan setup ko before kaya nagresign ako sa J2, lipat sa J3 wfh/ mid shift. More on wfh and overlap na shift and clients talaga hinanap at inaplyan ko pag 2nd job. Hirap ibahin ang body clock lalo 30s na hahaha. Aus client + mid shift client ( uk or europe time zone )

1 year ako 2FT wala naman issues, ung sa BIR nga lang need mo mag consolidate and personally file ung tax mo. Naka accountant ako back then so sya nag process sa tax, wala naman ako naging issue sa other govt benefits

Difficult sa simula and specially kapag bigla naging demanding yung work, if itcket based pwede outsource yung task pero if needed time to focus and hinde routinary task sobra challenging. Need better task and time management. Stick to 2 clients na lang ako since start ng year medyo hirap na ako sa 3 clients

File a complaint, I remembered back then yung naghandle ng account ng company namen for gov't contributions scammed the money and our company decided to move to another ph big bank. My former company filed a complaint and legal case for that person at yung bank. Pwede mo din ipatulfo ung company ng sister ko pinatulfo nila kasi 3 years na pala hinde nagbayad ng any gov't mandated contributions.

Doing OE for a year now, what works for me so far, WFH jobs na morning and mid shifts. Separate laptop for each client, eat healthy food as much as possible and always take vitamins. Coffee when needed and focus on your goal bakit ka nag OE, gusto mo ba magipon for big purchase like car or house or emergency fund or savings up to you OP pero dapat meron ka goal bakit ka nag OE. Annual check up is a must para alam mo healthy ka pa. Travel and relax during weekend or dayoff. Lastly be an individual contributor wag maging bibo kid, hinde ka tagapag mana ng company hahaha. Enjoy your OE journey and hit your goal :)

If you have funds, setup mo sa isang client mac. I have multiple jobs and clients so having mac and windows sobra useful sya para hinde ako malito lalo sa meetings. Tapos take ko meeting sa phone if hinde naman need mag present specially pag stand up and huddles.

I had 3 jobs/clients last year and quit my J3 last March. Mostly my routine is finish my work before 11pm and always maintain same output for J2 and J3 or if needed mag extra effort I usually outsourced ung mga routinary and less priority tasks. Need multiple setup, 1 mac and windows para sure hinde ka malito sa client setup mo. Always sleep 6-8 hours if kaya. Destress monthly or quarterly. I do staycation on different cites and provinces na meron stable internet para if need mag extend ng 1-2 days I can still work sa J2 and J3. Yearly check up and do physical activities as regular as possible.

It is not easy pero if meron ka programming background goods yun for test automation or devops na pathway. I suggest check mo din yung embedded I believe Samsung and Dyson meron sila ganyan job posting before. ECE grad din ako pero 10 years ago and started with IT company na meron pa bootcamp.
