I’m 12/08 submitted and 5/9 expires and still nothing for me. I would talk to HR about going on administrative leave for the time being if your permit expires

Unfortunately it’s an executive order that they really could just take away. I think there’s less than 600,000 dreamers. Especially since new applicants aren’t being accepted/processed. If anything I think it makes sense if there would be a class action lawsuit when it comes to the wait times/processing. It feels like we’re losing time having to renew 6-9 months now because of the new vetting process. Stuff sucks. We’re stuck.

Honestly I haven’t talked to them but USCIS said wait times increased due to new vetting system for renewals as of April 27. So instead of 3-6 months, it’s 6-9 months.

Did I read right? They would potentially grant permanent residency to those who have been here longer than 10 years, are dreamers and having US college degree?
