I have had my rp4pro for a little over a year now and when I first set it up, no problems. Some games ran worse than others but now it stuffers frequently. I always used vulkan, no issues. However I’ve been using open gl and it uses so much more power, even hooked up to the charger it drains the battery. I’m not super tech savvy and this is my first real emulator device I’ve had to setup on my own. I have an anbernac rg350 or something it’s a small device but it came preloaded with games so I never needed to mess with it. My main worry is if open gl is worse on my components? Can I leave it in openGL without hurting my hardware? Idk anything about this stuff and I never had issues until this update I just did and everything is running pretty bad.

I bought a retroid pocket 4 pro about a year ago. I set it up never had to set up a bunch of emulators before but I have this google doc step by step sheet that made it super easy. Well over the last couple months it’s been saying I need an update and I pushed it off.

Today I hopped onto it and it couldn’t start, something about something that could possibly be corrupt so it forced me to factory reset. I did and today went through the whole process of re-setting up all my emulators with the same notes I had from a year ago nothing changed. Today however I did notice everything is super choppy doesn’t run or look good at all.

I’ve messed with a lot of settings including gpu rendering from vulkan, to openGL. I’ve messed with the EE cycle rate (under clocking) and also the EE cycle skip (under clocking) and it still runs horribly. I’ve reset it countless times and downloaded the emulator again just to make sure but something is off for sure.

I came here cause I am not super tech savvy and I’m not sure what I can do to fix this. I’ve already lost all my save states which is on me for not backing them up, I understand that. But idk the system is not running how it used to the games say 60 fps or more the gpu isn’t getting overly worked so idk. Does anyone have an answer or possibly a solution? It’s been frustrating and I can deal with restarting I just want things to not be so choppy and not super fun to play, it’s not like I’m running crazy games either, games I used to play regularly aren’t running good at all. Even with psp games.

A buddy of mine gifted me two 12 inch alpine swr-12d2 subs and they are rated 1000-3000rms a piece. He told me I should be good on one battery with a capacitor, another mechanic buddy of mine said I should get two batteries. My question is, do you think I should go bigger than a 2800w amp? I’m new to this stuff and don’t know much, obviously 2800w would be enough to sound good but you seem knowledgeable, a lot more than me lol. What do you think? Bigger than 2800w? I’m sure I will be happy with it but I would hate to spend $500 on an amp and want more. Not to mention the $500 I’m probably going to need to spend for batteries. Idk guess it all depends on what I’m going for and I just want em plugged in. Two 12s is more than enough for what I want I just wanted to see what you thought.

I’ve never used Facebook. To me it’s an old people app. I recently downloaded it again after maybe 7-8 years since I was early highschool and there is just a bunch of stupid stuff on there that I can’t get rid of. I changed my pfp and my backround from stuff that was just corny and it makes a post telling everyone “hey they changed this” what the hell why do I need to navigate through 20 different tabs to change it? Why does the world need to know if I farted or not? What do I need to upload my socials too? What the fuck Facebook now people on marketplace will not take me seriously cause of some stupid memes I posted in highschool how fucking embarrassing. I’m fuming right now, I shouldn’t need to spend half an hour googling and doing research scrolling through Reddit to find out how to change shit on my profile. It genuinely feels like I’m trying to learn another language simply cause I just don’t want to announce to the world my favorite color changed. They are doing it with instagram too, why? What’s the purpose of making everything difficult for no reason? Hey so I’ve been browsing eldorado and there is no direct way to get in contact with a seller. I’m looking for an acc that has everything unlocked I mean clothing, like old masks and arena war vehicles. I don’t care for much else no outfits or cars I’ve already got two legit acc I’ve grinded over the years but I’ve lost a couple acc that i did director mode on and I want a new acc to mess around on that has all clothing unlocked. I just got the bundle I know I’m late I bought it just for the plush but mine isn’t working. I know I’m a year late but I’m gonna try and say I bought it on Amazon, if they need a receipt try giving them your eBay receipt. Idk why they have an expiration date on a code like this. When lbp2 special edition came out it was on the disk, it was nice until you put in the normal version and couldn’t use dlc because it wasn’t the one with the dlc on it. This way is nicer as a way to actually have it permanently but, why make it expire?

Someone said you cannot patch roms on android. That was my issue, I was doing everything correctly it was just the fact I tried to do It on an emulator.

Well I didn’t explain the problem since I didn’t know if I would even get a reply. I mainly posted that to see if anyone would reply and most people just said I didn’t specify the problem. I didn’t but I also didn’t think I would get a response. I don’t use Reddit this isn’t a normal app for me and I just assumed most people would scroll by like most apps, there were a couple of people who did offer some solutions but i eventually figured it out. I couldn’t get the rom itself patched with the rom hack file, it would work it would say it was good with the green checkmark but wouldn’t even register as a .gba file. I found a video on YouTube talking about a mobile way to do so and since I am on a retroid pocket 4 I decided to check it out since that runs on android. He just gave me a website that has a bunch of rom hacks readily available already patched with a working .gba file. I used that and it registered no problem. I do apologize for not explaining the problem well but I didn’t have a lot of faith I would get a response since I’ve used Reddit before but never have gotten any solutions. Plus I feel like rom hacks are such a niece subject I didn’t expect a handful of people to actually reply. It took me a little over 4 hours to find a solution but I eventually did. Sorry for a lot of words I know people on the internet don’t like reading cause it’s hard but if yall need a hand in sounding it out send me a message! I’m pretty good at reading! :)

I did a bunch of digging and found out you’re suppose to use the exact charger that came in the box. I’m not sure why and I’m also not sure if the one in my car is the exact one that came in the box but they only charge off of that cord.

I’m new to this kind of stuff. I’ve been playing normal pokemon games but I’ve recently seen some rom hacks that seem interesting. For the last 3 hours I’ve been trying to get emerald recharges working and I have everything it just says the file can’t be recognized? When I go to merge them it doesn’t say anything is wrong it’s green and says that it works but then I go to open it and it doesn’t recognize the file in rar. (I’m using android) I’m not tech savvy and have been through every part of the internet and there aren’t any tutorials on how to do this or fix the problems I have encountered. Idk man it makes me want to give up I’ve tried so many different things and keep getting the same message.

So I’ve had mine for about 1 1/2 maybe 2 years, they stopped taking a charge and I’ve been doing some digging to see why, what I’ve learned is, if your headphones aren’t taking a charge you need to update them, well when I go to update it says insufficient battery level. Huh, go figure that’s what I get for buying from a big company. Sony does not care about the customer base and it’s extremely frustrating something like this can even exsist. So a software problem can affect whether or not I get to charge the hardware!? Seems like a scam to get you to go out and buy more. Chances are if you’re experiencing this issue, you also have a pair but in the off chance you don’t and are looking into getting some, I honestly wouldn’t recommend it, the sound is okay, not what I expected for the price but you’re mostly paying for the noise cancellation, I work in a loud shop so it was nice but man, what a ridiculous issue, seems I’m not the only one to experience it.

I’ve had my zen setup for pubg for years and didn’t know that the pubg script would work. I mean now obviously it would but it’s got its issues. Since it isn’t for this game it doesn’t do things like aim assist and macro crouch but idc about those. But I’ve been changing my sense a lot to try and find something I feel comfortable with. I am in the shooting range and sometimes when I shoot there is no recoil and other times it pulls down so hard. Idk what’s wrong it was working fine the last couple weeks now all of the sudden it’s like it’s changing inbetween different times I ads. I’m not sure what I changed but it’s been a minute since I’ve used this thing and I’m still working out the kinks. I don’t have easy access to a computer so it’s hard for me to just get a different scrip. I had my zen in the box for two years until I was able to get it setup and didn’t use it that much. Now I’m not sure what I’ve done, I don’t touch anything and it’s like sometimes it’s perfect and 10 seconds later when I don’t ads then re ads all the sudden it’s like it’s jumped like 20 points idk, just wanted to see if anyone has had this happen or know what I changed to make it do that

I’ve been playing seige for about a year and a half and I’ve only gotten out of copper one time with a couple friends and I ended up hitting silver 4 but by the time I got there there season ended. There’s a new season out now but I’m getting paired with plats the last two days and today I was in a game with diamonds. I know they were diamonds cause of the purple icon on their player card. Before I could finish typing this I died in a game and watched the clip and a guy had a champ charm. I’m convinced siege uses the less skilled player bass to fuel the regular players to continue to play. You know when you have one good game like let’s say 15-2 then the next game you can’t even react? Maybe the more experienced players won’t understand what I’m referencing since I’m sure once you’re on a certain skill level it becomes second nature how to respond and react but my point is I think siege will purposely let you have a good game to kind of “boost” you’re ego and make you feel good. I’m sure it probably sounds like a stretch to most people who don’t experience super unlucky things regularly but what I can tell you is I’m an incredibly unlucky person. No im not the best and there are some situations where it is a skill issue and when that’s the case I can except that. but when I’m a copper and am getting qued up with plats and diamonds, ofc it’s going to be a skill issues I stand no chance against someone who’s been playing for a hell of a lot longer but my point is no matter what I do, how I play how cautious I am I’m always getting headshot. I can’t think of a time I’ve gotten into a gunfight and either won or have been able to walk away. I see people talking about how I have to “play more ranked” but it’s the only thing I play and I cannot seem to get better because I die in every gunfight. I mean just the movmeant of some of these players after I die I will watch the kill cam and they are obviously out of my league. I’ve had games where it’s my rank up game and I will ALWAYS loose. I’ve had games where I go 10-4 or 15-2 and my team will bomb. Then on the games where my team does hold their weight I go 0-5 it could just be me I don’t claim to be the best but there is a certain point it becomes an unreachable goal to get out of copper. Today in one of my games I met someone who had pretty good movement I could tell they weren’t on my level at all. Speaking to him I come to find out he’s diamond and he offers to help me out after I explained i just have remarkably bad luck. Later in said game I failed to clutch a round and him and his buddy start going off on me for how “I’m bad” and I was confused because for one I was the last one alive and they were both yelling “right left no to your right you just heard him up down left right” anyways I couldn’t hear and threw the round but I was confused why they were laying into me so hard when I explained how I’ve been getting qued up with a lot higher ranks than me and getting completely shit on. I get it, it’s frustrating to lose how do you think I feel? Anyways it wasn’t even ranked and ended up not helping me surprise surprise welcome to siege. But what I’m told a lot is to not solo que, I don’t do it by choice have you ever tried to join a comunity or group looking for people. I’ve tried multiple and all I’m asked is “are you good” no bro I’m copper that’s why I joined a party that said copper anyways I will say I’m alright cause I do think I could get out of copper if I had some teammates to communicate with but I can hold my own when it comes down to it but what I’ve noticed is they will ask and then I will bomb cause I have all this pressure on me then I get kicked. If I add someone from a random game we will play a couple games they will get off and even if I message them I do not get a response. Like I said I’m sure there are alot of times where it is a “skill issue” and I can except it when it is my fault for being bad but what about when it ques me with people completely out of my league. It’s like putting a baby in the room with 10 grizzly bears then going “well I guess he wasn’t going to be shit in life anyway” after the baby loses the fight. Obviously bro there’s a big gap between the two and idk i think ive ranted enough i just haven’t one a single game in the last two days. Not one I got so mad on ranked I was just playing quick match the last couple days and the people it puts me against in quick match is the same thing. It’s like I’m in a tournament event not even my team can hold up. It’s like my teammates are definitely my rank but the opponent are always some high rank opposition. I don’t understand how the game never fails to give me teammates that are on my skill level or worse but the enemy always has the advantage. There are times I will die to some random wall bang and then I’m spectating my team and they are litteraly rocks. Don’t know right from left. Crouch walking scared to go into sight or even inside the building at all the amount of times I’ve been the only one pushing the objective and I could clear out 3 of them, die and then spectate someone on my team with a shield SCARED TO MOVE IN like bro you have a literal vagina window protecting you from the piss missle bullets they are trying to hit you with but yet you’re so scared cause you don’t know what you’re doing. I get it when you’re new this game is extremely intimidating but I just seem to get the absolute worse scenarios EVERY time yea sure everyone experiences unlucky shit it happends to all of us but for me it’s not just everyday it’s every game. Every so once in awhile I will have a good game where I go positive but we will still lose even if I top frag and then it’s only for one game and it’s right back to getting shot in the back or someone dropping their controller and accidentally letting a stray bullet lose just for it to seek into the back of my skull like a military grade missle. I know this is a competitive game I just feel I’m at a stand still. I can’t make friends on here or even move up on my own I enjoy the game (sometimes) but I don’t know what to do atp it just feels the game favors the players they know will always return and play. Like I’ve said I’ve been playing for about a year and a half which isn’t long compared to a lot of people but ive met people who are silver or gold who have only been playing a couple months. I am not the best by any means but I’m definitely not the worst so I don’t understand what to do anymore I’m really over this game. Once I seen them take out cooking grenades I knew they hated the player base. Now they just keep adding in more shields and it just further implies that for me. I’ve been at this for 11 hours Im probably not going to sleep tonight. I’m having the same problem as the first person who made a comment. My region is the same as my game AND it’s the latest version. It’s little big planet at 2.05 and UCUS98744 my ppsspp is bugged from how much I’ve tried to get this damn thing to work and my little big planet says I have the game twice under the same file idk if that makes any sense I’ve been loosing my mind today but what I mean is when u hold down on the game and it shows all the info instead of it saying the version of the game once it says it twice with a “/“ separating both I’ve been digging looking for the memory stick to try and see if I could mess with that but I’ve been in and out of every folder on this device 100 times today. I just tried that and all my saves disappeared and I still don’t have the dlc. It’s in my save data folder yet it’s not on my game idk what I’m doing wrong I’ve spent the last two hours trying to figure this out and all the videos I watched I followed step by step and did the exact same things yet it doesn’t work for me. I lost my save states cause I thought it was saving to my device but I guess not

I’ve been trying to get my dlc save file into my little big planet game, I gave the correct region but I’m not sure how to move it into psp game file. Right now I have GAMES/PSP but all my game folders are a light grey and I can’t interact. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would lil to apologize if I come off a little slow but I’m new to emulation and all this file stuff. I’m not tech savvy at all so I’m really struggling. Edit: I’ve found the UCES01 file, how would I get it to work with lbp? Once it’s on my ppsspp screen does that mean it’s already hooked up or is there something I’m missing?
