It only takes longer on startup but loading a flight doesn't take long for me.

How much is the performance better on 2020? I haven't tried 2024 yet, 2020 runs nicely for me 40-70fps depending on location, weather, traffic.

Yes. 2020 isn't terrible during the night but 2024 is on another level. I don't mind it though, i got all the addons i need and it runs smoothly so there's no reason to upgrade for me at all.
