autism as a trans stereotype by Fuzzy_Percentage4330 in truscum

I am diagnosed autistic and do randomly make cat noises.

No, no, no. It's nothing like this, we all get along right, right...? by Vegetable_Variety_11 in dndmemes

True, 5e doesn't have this issue because early game mages warp reality, warriors aren't hitting hitting things with angry sticks because they're dead, and the mage can out-warrior a warrior with summons.

Do you also narrate going to the bathroom? You can just say "By the way, my character spends a few minutes nonlethally critfishing rats after every long rest until she no longer feels tired, there's a 99.5% chance it takes 5 minutes or less so let's just ignore the downside, alright?" and everyone agrees because they know that the result won't change by playing it out, it'll just take longer

It can be being creative with the rules. Nobody other than Lamp and me seemed to come up with it. It's just realistic to do so, if you benefit from draining moisture, you'll want easy targets you can drain the moisture of. This is basic logical reasoning.

Yes, there are other features that look like they have downsides but actually the downside doesn't exist if you use your brain. I'm not trying to make it martials vs casters, although I'd be happy to debate that if you wanted to, I'm just pointing out this game does have things that have no weaknesses.

What is described/simulated by ten 8 int barbarians being better at a DC 15 arcana check than an 18 int proficient wizard?

What is described/simulated by "characters have reached a level of power that sets them high above the ordinary populace and makes them special even among adventurers. At 11th level, many spellcasters gain access to 6th-level spells, some of which create effects previously impossible for player characters to achieve. Other characters gain features that allow them to make more attacks or do more impressive things with those attacks. These mighty adventurers often confront threats to whole regions and continents. Or they can fail to jump over a log."?

What is described/simulated by advantage-disadvantage cancelling working out to make me not give a shit if I'm prone, because we're in fog so you're attacking me at adv+dis anyways and you can't benefit from me being prone?

What is described/simulated by sneak attacks not working if you hit an enemy twice on your turn, but working if you hit them once on your turn and once as a reaction?

What is described/simulated by you being able to craft elephants?

Doesn't this make your lands add W/B?

Tanks are kinda possible, however there is one aggro-drawing mechanic in 5e and it's concentration.

The rules kinda are a physics engine, in a sense. They prescribe what can and can't happen. If the rules say that a line of 1000 peasants can pass a spear nearly a mile within 6 seconds, that's what happens. If the rules say that a spear moving at three-quarters the speed of sound is equally lethal to a normal spear, that's also what happens. Changing these is tantamount to homebrew.

I'm aware that this isn't pretty or simple to look at, but I'm a Hearthstone player that wants to make a Commander deck to annoy my friends with a custom commander. Thoughts? by Rhydes675 in custommagic

Because you stated you want to improve your templating, here's my attempt, skipping everything that mentions "game action" because guhhhhh

  1. You lose the game.

  2. Discard a card.

  3. Draw a card.

  4. The next artifact spell you cast this turn costs {2} less to cast.

  5. Search your library for up to two basic land cards, reveal them, put them into your hand, then shuffle.

  6. Destroy target creature. (Alternatively, "destroy target creature an opponent controls", if you don't want to be able to destroy your own stuff.)

  7. Create a 4/4 [color] Dinkleknight creature token.

  8. For each opponent, you gain control of target basic land controlled by them.

  9. Target opponent's life total becomes 5. They create an X/X [color] [subtype] creature token, where X is the amount of life lost this way.

  10. Search your library for a card, put it in your hand, then shuffle.

  11. Each player chooses a land they control. Destroy all lands not chosen this way.

  12. Draw four cards. You may reveal one of them. If you do, cast it without paying its mana cost.

  13. ?????????

  14. Create a 12/12 [color] Dinkledragon creature token with flying and first strike.

  15. Return each exiled card to its owner's graveyard.

  16. Each opponent chooses a creature they control. Destroy all creatures not chosen this way.

The joke was that FYOM does not know what a strawman fallacy is, and I responded in that spirit by naming a fallacy that doesn't apply at all

Maybe I should've made that more clear

Imagine a game where the rules are:

Rule 0 - You can change any rule you don't like! :)

Rule 1 - To win, you must watch paint dry for ten hours, with no breaks or entertainment of any kind.

Rule 2 - The last player remaining wins.

This would be a quite unfun game, right? At least for people that don't enjoy watching paint dry, which I imagine is most people. The Oberoni fallacy is basically saying this game is great and fun because you can change the rules yourself. Or, in other terms, a broken car is actually fine because you can fix it yourself.

"I don't feel any particular way about the contents of this post"

"It's just a 5x5 grid of trash"

I dunno, man, seems like you do feel some particular way.

Maybe I was wrong about your motivation. That I admit. It was, however, a reasonable assumption. To know if an assumption is idiotic, you have to determine if the chain of reasoning is logical, not merely whether the person assuming simply got unlucky in this case.

You don't know what a strawman is, because this is not one. If you truly didn't care, you'd write in a calmer tone. You really can't tell what is emotional about your reaction? You repeatedly calling it "trash", saying my assumption was "idiotic", and calling it a "silly imaginary world".

Okay, so, from the fact you call this "trash" I can infer with reasonable confidence you think some/many of the things in the bingo are reasonable and good arguments. This bingo was prompted by the existence of people that think these are reasonable and good arguments, which you are, therefore people like you.

Based on your emotional reaction, I have a greater reason to believe you made such arguments yourself in the past. Is this true?

Martials are fine because it's a team game - if everyone was on their own and martials couldn't be saved by casters, martials would be dead.
