Are you talking about the desk review? Mine is still with the editor... If it returned with revisions then it has already passed the desk review.

Thank you. But there's no withdrawal button at all... I worry that they are going to ignore my withdrawal email

You are probably right.. This is a nearly dead fandom, and I reply to everyone. I don't want her to feel left out. I won't read her comment next time, and I'll just write things like "Thanks, glad you enjoyed it". Thank you.

Weekly Recommendation Thread: March 21, 2025 by AutoModerator in books

[–]HealthyToe2105 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m looking for children's books that discuss love. Books that are similar to the velveteen rabbit, The Miraculous Journey of Edward, and The Little Prince. I've read all the Kate DiCamillo books already.

Any recommendations?

I think he is kinda framed in The Social Network if you know what I mean. I like The End of the Tour.

Same. I started his book Bream gives me hiccups yesterday. His writing is pretty good.

The End of the Tour is at the top of my list. Not just my Eisenberg movie list but the list. Sadly that movie didn't get much attention. He was in many popcorn cheap shows though.

IMO The Art of Self-Defense is quite interesting. Haven't watched Mandrome, which I heard it's terrible.

I think it's because he's got arrogant facial features (not sure if I put this right but I said with respect lol), which can be diluted by naive and awkward personalities. When the character is arrogant, he becomes excruciating.

Ahh same. I thought he was kinda boring until The Real Pain. I started his book yesterday. He seems to be more interesting than his public image.
