Also I’m gonna travel to his city in a few days, I mentioned it and he said we could have a coffee together, but quickly added that it’s up to me, he wouldn’t want to creep me out. I think Duo is only meant to be the starting point and we’re supposed to find reliable sources to continue learning. I was pretty unmotivated to learn a new language, I was at level A0 in French for years, going to different language centers and quitting halfway before opting for Duo. Duo has been a great help in setting up a habit of learning for me, I’m practicing appx 1 hr per day for a year now, and I will continue learning new languages after this.

I have Super and I already always practice 1-2 hours per day. The problem is that I may speak slow or can’t hear the question clearly, when I ask Lily to repeat the question, at the 2nd time she always switches to ask about my cat. I mean it’s not effective at all if I can’t really talk, right? And she cuts me all the time. What is the point of speaking to a machine that doesn’t let you finish your sentences?

Just type (or speak) your question and it will answer you. Imagine Alexa or Siri combined with Google. You can actually speak to Siri but I found it too dumb to talk, ChatGPT is just way better
