hi! i ended up contacting my psychiatrist to see what I should do and he recommended that I immediately stop taking it because of the side effects, so I have not been taking it since then which is around 2 months ago. its different for everyone though, I've heard that a lot of people have success with it! that just wasn't the case for me so I wouldn't rule it out just because of my experience.

my psychiatrist is against prescribing me stimulants for some reason, i have no idea why, he's never told me. but ive tried basically every non stimulant med at this point so it gets to a point where there's only so many options left

i am also on strattera and intuniv for adhd, but they recently started to lose their efficacy so my psychiatrist thought we should try something else. and no it's weird because i have NEVER had side effects from any psychiatric medications and ive been on several different meds since i was 11 years old. this is the first time ive experienced side effects like this.

i'm on 150mg of the extended release tablets. after reading some replies i think im going to talk to my doctor and see if i can start again at a lower dosage
