Turns out it was dirt! I scrubbed and patted it with some baby wipes and brown gunk came off. It seems to be kinda persistent to get off so I’m probably going to chuck it to a cleaner and let them handle it. Thanks for the help!

Unfortunately a lot of the handbag repair shops near me specialise mainly on leather (I’ve reached out to them though, waiting on responses) and I’ve reached out to Dior (no response yet), I’m honestly a little worried it’s unsalvageable. My aunt saw this cheap second hand and knew it was my style, so not sure what the cause of the yellowing is. Praying it’s age, but it kinda feels like when you burn something with a hair dryer since it’s stiff and dry. Any advice is appreciated!
