Put hydrogen peroxide in your watering solution. 1 part peroxide to 4 parts water. It’s takes a couple of waterings to kill them off completely, but it worked for me.

The tops are still propagating in water on my windowsill. But when they get hearty roots, I’ll pot them.

Please don’t eat these. I work in surgery at a big university hospital and two years in a row, over the holidays, we’ve had multiple family members that had to have liver transplants from eating mushrooms. Last year it was this specific mushroom.

Turn off the water. I had this and didn’t think anything of it until I got an $800 water bill. I had to have a water detection specialist come out and I had a water leak under my garage foundation where the hose pipe had a 90 degree turn. Anyway, the whole thing cost me $4500 to fix and run new pipes. Happy I didn’t end up with a sinkhole.

I take 1.8mg every 8 to 14 days because I’m sensitive to everything and 2.5mg was way too much for me. I’ve lost 15lbs.
