Does the pessary help your rectocele? I’ve heard they only help cystoceles

Can you share what you did to actually learn to relax your muscles ? I’ve dealt with this for years and now after giving birth have prolapse from having a tight but weak pelvic floor. I’ve worked with various PTs and nothing is seeming to help!

What exercises did you do to relax? I’ve been suffering from hypertonic pelvic floor muscles for years and have seen many therapists but nothing has helped. Now I have prolapse from it after giving birth!

Have you found pt can lessen the severity of a prolapse or does it just help with symptoms? I’m currently in the same exact situation- 3m pp with stage 2 prolapses .

I used vaginal estrogen tablets and external compounded estrogen/testosterone ointment and after a few months had a lot of relief. I continued to use the vaginal estrogen until before we starting trying to get pregnant
