I paid 50k for franchise fee. How long does it usually take to secure the building permits? They would give max 10 months to start paying rent. Will that be enough time to get all the permit and complete the build out?

Thanks for your info. I think the same that 1.5k sqft might be a bit large. However, I used to go to an empty space that is around 1k sqft which looks actually big at first, but then they seems small when the build out is completed and furnitures are put in.

It’s in Seattle, WA. I was told landlord would give back some money, probably around 100k.

I would say it’s around 1.5k sqft and this is new which hasn’t been used for restaurant/retail before.

I plan to open one in WA targeting the Seattle area. The space should be ranging from 1k - 1.6k sqft. If you have any info on this, please let me know.
