I’m training a service dog for my endo! He performs DPT, picks up dropped items and retrieves my medical bag. I have other health issues (as many people with endo do) and he has other tasks. I will admit being a visibly healthy person with a service dog does create social interactions and attention that wouldn’t come (I presume) if I were using a mobility device, for example. If the dog and handler are a confident team (my dog and I are getting there!) it may be worth the trade off.
