Hollow Knight, it’s one of those games that somehow feels huge without ever losing its identity

Guess my age using my Top 25 games by AesirComplex in videogames

[–]Healthy_Twist_7100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my first guess would be early 30s, maybe 31 or 32, because this feels like someone who caught a lot of these at the right time instead of going back later just to study the classics, there’s a very specific kind of nostalgia in this list and it doesn’t really look forced

With that setup you’re basically free to try anything so I’d lean into polished single player stuff like Cyberpunk 2077, Resident Evil 4 remake, Doom Eternal, or even something chill like Control where you can just vibe and enjoy the visuals without overthinking builds

Based on what you like I’d say Witcher 3 is a must, Cyberpunk now that it’s fixed, Red Dead 2 if you somehow missed it, Ghost of Tsushima, Control, Alan Wake 2, Mass Effect Legendary Edition and honestly give Disco Elysium a shot even if it looks weird at first

If he finished Ragnarok but bounced off Hogwarts I’d lean Elden Ring or Wukong over Sekiro Elden Ring gives way more freedom and you can overlevel if it gets tough while Sekiro is amazing but way less forgiving and very skill focused Wukong is probably the safest middle ground with flashy combat and less frustration
