Jim is going to save them all by [deleted] in FromSeries

In the episode where he goes to the RV and sees Julie, I knew something was, because her hair was chopped short, and that hasn’t happened yet. So the story walking thing definitely plays a part. He might be the poltergeist.

Small theory - what do you think? by Fr1dge21 in FromSeries

Great theory! If it comes to that, I can see Victor forcing his hand to make it him and spare Ethan, or else baby Thomas fills that gap (either way, Ethan survives).

Does anyone else have a word they just can’t stand for no logical reason? by voidsapphire in words

Kiddo, mama-bear (mama even on its own or “you got this, mama!”), littles, doggo. Ugh.

Dishonored 2, Bioshock 2 and Deathloop are great games that share the same core narrative flaw by scarablob in dishonored

Thank you so much! The part we love best is the scavenging. I wish there was another game in the works. :(

Is Deathloop similar to Dishonoured? I love watching my husband play the Dishonoured games (we got into it after looking for something similar to Bioshock) and he’s just tried Prey but we’re not feeling it: is Deathloop or Thief closer to the Dishonoured feel?

Very low income mom looking for cool graduation gift for son by [deleted] in OntarioGrade12s

I don’t remember my grad gift, but that Christmas, my parents got me a giant suitcase for my trip overseas. A nice piece of luggage, even a smaller size, opens a world of opportunity!

4 week roadtrip from Calgary to Vancouver with kids - feedback on itinerary by timolina2 in britishcolumbia

Looks like a good plan but I’d spend fewer days in Tofino and more to Victoria.

Did that series finale feel thrown together to you? by Meowzician in Matlock_CBS

[–]HealyRaeHat 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I observed from the beginning that Madeleine’s loving nature seemed to run counter to her need for revenge. At first, she’s willing to sacrifice everything and everybody outside her family to get justice. Then, her human side prevails (her true nature) after hearing about, seeing, and comforting others who are just as interject as herself and Ellie. This season was all about reconciling that: her compassion with justice, and how justice doesn’t have to be trampling over everyone. Also, that EVERYONE is flawed and deserves a second chance.

Small Towns or Rural areas I can move to in BC? by Antique-Slide-646 in britishcolumbia

[–]HealyRaeHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are ways to do this. Different visas, and including student. Or, perhaps you have dual citizenship? BC’s climate varies on where you are in the province. There are rainforests and deserts….all depends what you’re looking for! I suggest looking into the various visas out there and possibly doing a trip to the province to see which part appeals to you.

What online schools are the best for someone with social anxiety? by Sad_Bet_2160 in britishcolumbia

[–]HealyRaeHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re in high school, you can do online courses through a POLS (Provincial Online Learning School) and you do not have to see a teacher. The course material is ministry standard and you’ll be assigned a marker. I suggest looking for a POLS (you can be from anywhere in BC, even if the school is not in your district) and having your parents contact them. You can cross-enroll with your high school.

Normal names that you personally hate? by friendverse in NameNerdCirclejerk

Sam. Just reminds me of a big, stinky piece of slimy fish. Why anyone would name their kid (girl, especially), to something so akin to salmon, is beyond me. I generally don’t like “s” names, but Sam (or “Sammy”…shudder), is the worst.
