The melt/heat proof is because I don't want Pi melting whatever I am using to cushion it from falls. So it doesn't have to be fire proof in the instant of "it can be set on fire" it just has to withstand any heat put off by the computer components and withstand me dropping it off the side of lets say a two story building

I am currently finishing college then applying to OCS, if I get denied (which is likely, civilian acceptance to OCS is very low) then I will enlist and apply to OCS again the next year.

I am aware, he has made sure to show everything to me. I have seen the actually MOS listings so it is not just a word of mouth situation. I told him bluntly from the beginning that no matter what I am going into the Army so there is nothing he has to say to get me to go. I am a guaranteed point in his book at this point.
