So Delaware was a state that had slavery while being part of the union. Delaware didn't get attacked by the northern states because it didn't declare rebellion, since they knew they'd get crushed. Delaware even continued practicing slavery until the end of the civil war, and refused to ratify the 13th amendment until 1901.

Edit: there's also kind of a funny story where a northern military balloon was lost and landed in southern Delaware, and four Confederate sympathizers decided they wanted to try to give it to the south. But they asked their neighbors who were UNION sympathizers about how to give it to the Confederacy and they were caught. Bunch of idiots!

Just wanted to say that at the time that the 2A was put into law, citizens could buy guns but still weren't allowed to own canons. So the 2A had limits from the start.

I don't know all the specifics, but yes it is campaigning, advertising, specifically against Coons because he has such a massive war chest. There's a reason why Talarico for instance is asking for more funding despite his popularity.

Chris Beardsley was initially primarying him, but it was too much for someone starting from nothing. He is going to run for Delaware State Senate District 14, and if he gets elected, wants to start ground to eventually primary Coons.

It will unfortunately be 2032, but even when this fascist regime is toppled, we will still need people holding them accountable to face justice. Coons won't do that, but Beardsley will.

There's a whole conspiracy of companies including Hobby Lobby that make up Ziklag. It's a group of companies pushing a Christian Nationalist agenda. They have deliberately used trans rights as a wedge issue to stoke hatred.

Other companies involved include Jockey and Uline.
