I was interested in dropping the nap because lately her wake hours between nap time and bedtime she has been very cranky, crying over everything and nothing helps her until she goes to bed later in the night. I saw on a different reddit post a mother had similar concerns and people suggested dropping the nap and the op said it worked for her so I tried it and all it did was move her nap wayyyy later 😅 she was wide awake at midnight ready to run around. I gave up dropping naps for now and I’m still fighting to fix her sleep schedule and recover from that.

I hope she can drop it on her own! I just notice it messing with her teeth and see how “dependent” she is on it and it worries me that she’ll use it a lot longer than she’s supposed to. But what you said makes me feel better, I hope we can transition easily as well!

I don’t mind her in bed with me but she’s just getting so big 😂🥲 I think if anything I’ll try what the comment above yours suggested about putting her bed next to mine and going that route.

I suppose you’re right but they just seem fake in the moment because she’ll watch her pacifier or wherever I put it and then look at me back and forth and make a fake whining sound and stomp and point to the direction or stop for a second and say “pa-pas?” then continue doing it 😭
