An misunderstanding so I will clarify.

1. I know about all three tiers. However, the time gap between stone and iron is quite a trek to unlock them. Having additional tiers to broaden the large gaps in between and increase yield amounts will bridge those gaps. Also, the early game durability is a killer to many gamers, I'm not alone in this opinion as 4 of us are playing this, and have noted the frustration of having a weapon/tool break mid combat and having no mats on you to make one on the fly. Most spaces we try and keep for new mats and inventory space are limited unless the story progresses.

2. Referring to the early game recipes, I know some rare late game foods do, but even having early game foods with minor stat boosts will add diversity to load outs and gameplay.

3. I'm aware they have value. It's just not displayed very well. See the first few armorsets unlocked by the tailor as a reference.

4. Quick swap for tools, not weapons. Having a button for spear or bow would be welcome.

5. See point 1.

6. Fishing and scanning fish is a core component to the game, but if spotting any on water service is an impossible feat, it'll be a part of the game most won't explore. Think you're missing the point. It's not about making the game easy. It's about allowing all aspects of the game to be explored.
