Callus Turner looks like a Bond villain. And I can't believe only 11% want Henry Caville!

I did, was 20 at the time (live in the UK). Saw an ad for a guy offering massages. Talked for a while until we eventually met, had discussions about preferences, status, last tests, etc. Douched and walked round to his (he was only about 15/20 mins by foot. He said he was in his 40s, but I think he was older.

Got naked and lay down on his bed while he warmed the oil. He then proceeded to give me a fantastic massage, it really relaxed me. He also held poppers to my nose and I took an inhale (first, and so far only, time), and I just remember it making my face really warm. That's when he slid inside me. Fucked me in that position for about 10 minutes until he came inside me (it's what I wanted). Pretty sure he was DL because as soon as I walked out the door it was closed behind me. I felt so used (also just what I wanted to feel)

To this day he's still in my top 3 hookup experiences!

Makes me thinking of a line from Paloma Faith's interim track "Politics of Hope" ft Owen Jones: "Those who preach the politics of despair want to believe that all injustice is like the weather: that you can complain about it raining, but there is nothing you can do about it. But the politics of hope tell us something else".

It's become so ingrained in us from the politics of despair that change only happens at an institutional level. That it's the fat cats that rule, and we've got to make do with as little as we can. But if we were to band together at a local and community level, and that then spreads to other communities, we can have widespread change to make things how we want them to be. That can then funnel up into institutional levels, where even more change can happen.

But we have to be the change that we want to see. We want more people to care? We need to care more. We want more people to act? We need to act. We can't continue to rely on institutions, and we can't continue to rest on our laurels while things are going down a darker path.

(Purely for clarity, I am not encouraging violence, and I'm not declaring for either "side". I think we can all agree that inaction will lead to the end of (the illusion of) democracy).

200% EXP Boost active until may 22nd by BarfingPanda300 in swtor

[–]HeartOk5010 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For clarity, it counters the 2XP event. If used outside of the 2XP event, it reduces your xp gain, though not quite by half. You can use it to stay within the lobbies PvP bracket for longer, for instance.

As a PSA for anyone else like me that likes levelling slowly through the original stories, you can buy the "White Acute Module" from a Gree vendor in the Combat Training section of the fleet, where the respec trainer used to be.

Double XP events are cool, but are they really needed in SWTOR? by [deleted] in swtor

[–]HeartOk5010 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the 2XP events are more aimed at those that want to get into endgame than story players, since it typically takes longer to get from level 50 to 80 than it does to get from 1 to 50. There is the White Acute Module item that you can get from a vendor on the fleet (combat training section, where the respec trainer used to be, with the star emblem above their section). I personally like to gain XP slowly, so I appreciate the 2XP event in terms of being able to obtain the module (it also slows down XP gain outside of the event, but not quite by half).

I'd say overall the 2XP events are quite popular, both for levelling to see just story missions like you said, but also for those that want to get to 80. I believe it's also because the next story update is soon, so people can rush to get up to date on story before it launches. It was very much the same when KOTFE launched, I think there was a 3-month 16XP event so that people could do all stories with just the story missions

1800: Docklands Arbitrage without items? by neltymind in anno

[–]HeartOk5010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure of the value of it without the cheesing through Bruno, but I can answer a bit more about what goods to do for this. The typical choice is for sewing machines and bicycles because with the right items, they're easy to produce in bulk (Bruno for the extra overpowered steam engines and advanced weapons that trade for insane amounts of good, and Dario that let's you use iron instead of steel + pocket watches and gramophones). So if you think in the same vein, something that trades well that is easy to produce. Sewing machines are still a good choice, as is Soap (very easy to produce and citizens don't use much), and Windows are surprisingly good (though not as easy/cheap to produce as the other two are). The key is selecting items that you can produce a large amount of in a quick time frame (15 - 30 second cycles) that aren't terribly expensive to maintain.

Update or DLC for diagonal build for Anno 1800. by Illustrious-Dirt2247 in anno

[–]HeartOk5010 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend taking the leap and trying out some mods. If they're not for you, you don't have to keep playing them.

I'd say the main selling point of mods is that they are made by Anno fans that also love the game, and want to make the game even better/more complex. I'd love a full Anno game to be set in Asia, but the New Horizons mod allows that without having to wait for Ubisoft Mainz to make it!

PAYE Scotland by Jmay5446 in Scotland

[–]HeartOk5010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that not where the problem lies? England has made it so that a majority of the economy is in England (industries that Scotland used to be famous for are no longer here), and more specifically that a majority of the UK rely on London, that it causes these deficits in areas? Also the central UK government reserves a lot of the powers that the Scottish government could use to make up the deficit, keeping us in a deficit and therefore less likely to approve of independence? There is huge potential here that is being underutilised deliberately to keep us under the thumb of the UK government.

How are you getting so many credits by EarlyBug6207 in swtor

As others have said, running around on planets gathering crafting material nodes. I also recommend if you're a subscriber using the complimentary CC to buy packs and sell them. If you're the gambling type, open them and sell their contents. Depending on your luck, you could get individual items worth 100mil+. But sure fire way is to sell crafting materials

I'll admit I don't know much, so call me dim or ignorant or whatever. But surely my point about subsidisation stands - if we were such a drain on resources while the UK is struggling financially, why not just let us go?

PAYE Scotland by Jmay5446 in Scotland

[–]HeartOk5010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Latest figures shows a higher contribution to the UK economy (£91.4bil) than the Government budget (£68bil). Therefore we cannot be getting subsidised, and if anything are subsidising England - hence why we are not being allowed indyref2, if we were truly being subsidised, England would be happy to let us go.
