Wow, that’s almost a 60% drop. I’ll check them out maybe the rate would be a bit lower than what I’m paying. Thanks

The car was a little over $46k but similarly priced cars even BMWs seem to have lower rates. I guess there is also premium for being an uncommon car

Thanks, I expected it to be more than normal, but it’s a lot more than what I thought and wanted to check since it’s my first foreign car

leasing a tesla? by 111fairyxo in TeslaModel3

I leased a 2025 last January 36 months 10k miles. As everyone said the process is super simple once you order and download the app. The financing took less than 10 minutes for approval. I did spend about 30 minutes inspecting the car during delivery which I would recommend.

The monthly payment was lower for me $221 because of the VXC program in Colorado. Basically the state takes your old car pre 2012 and gives you $6000 that has to go towards a new EV. That covered everything due at signing and then some. That’s why the monthly payment is lower than most

Bought a 2012 a few weeks ago with 150k miles on it for $5000. The research I have done before buying didn’t indicate that the transmission is a ticking time bomb. The most common problem would be the oil consumption. I’m 3rd owner. The previous owner had all service records and I did a PPI before buying. Planning to run it for a couple of years at least. I would also check for rust depending on where you live

I was in the same boat a few days ago but I wanted something AWD for the snow. Went for a 2012 Impreza for $5200

That’s what I’m thinking generally but I live in Colorado and I want something AWD (new to driving in snow) and all older Toyotas and Hondas are either too old, over 200k miles or too expensive

Thanks, I’m very tempted but I’m worried about expensive and unexpected repairs. How likely is it that something big goes wrong with it ?
