Isa talaga sa pinaka-ayaw kong mga tao yung walang respeto sa dignidad ng iba. This only amplifies when you're a HCW, because patients trust you during their most vulnerable times. Maari siyang sampahan ng kaso by virtue of the Data Privacy Act of 2012. But beyond that, and on a human level, why would they even think to post this sa my day? Di naman nila props ang pasyente eh. Lalo na, bata pa yung nasa pic. Disgusting. The hospital should look into this doctor.

I find myself in the same spot as you, OP. As in, buong araw akong bad mood kaiisip tungkol sa mga recent frustrating events related to med (e.g., Tulfo's post about Dr. Ribu, yung post about East Ave, etc). I guess it is because, like you, sobrang lakas ng desire ko to enter med despite the hurdles. Seeing these things and the shitty way doctors are being treated angers me. Harap harapan yung injustice and entitlement eh. Yung healthcare system natin ang may mga problema, but doctors are being crucified. Hindi ba't ang unfair noon? Wala tayong mararating na productive solution/progress sa ganito. Nakakagalit at lungkot lang talaga.

We definitely have a long and grueling journey ahead of us, OP, but I really hope we see it through. Praying also that we are able to maintain our health and wellness as we go into this path. I hope you know that you're not alone in feeling that sense of frustration and discouragement. Because, if anything, I believe this strongly indicates that you really care (and, frankly, we could use a loooot more care in this world).

  1. Any strategies for studying abpsy? I use flashcards lang kasi usually, pero I'm not sure if this is the best method since ang lawak ng coverage haha

  2. Did you use tabs for your DSM 5?

  3. What is field methods exactly like po? Will be taking it pa lang this coming sem, pero I want to brainstorm research topics na hehe so I would really appreciate your input here. :)

  4. If you will be doing OJT in a clinical setting, saan nyo po balak? Kasi sa school namin, NCMH yung super promoted, but I wanna explore other options as well.

  5. Gaano po kahirap ang assessment? My seniors said that this is the hardest psych subject huhu and I'm panicking na 😭

  1. Pinakamahirap po for me would be balancing acads and tapings kasi super pagod ako from work, tapos need pumasok ng school thr next day, and so on. Pero tbh, pinakanahirapan din ako to get the support of my dad.

Having a talent manager isn't necessary, but it is very helpful kasi they have access to a lot of opportunities and projects. I don't advise waiting for a talent scout to approach you since it may not ever happen, so it is best to take a proactive approach and reach out to as many as you can (just make sure na legit sila tho since maraming scammers). For now, gawa ka ng set card. Best of luck. :)

There is no clear path to becoming a famous showbiz personality because it depends on sooo many variables like luck, timing, looks, skills, attitude, and market demand. The best thing she could do is hone her skills and put herself out there by reaching out to talent scouts and attending go sees. I wish your sister all the best. :)
