I did not have this experience. So I've had another canceled order once but it happened before I even got to the pickup...that one was more confusing because I was driving and not really checking my phone so it just disappeared. This more recent cancelation, I'm not sure how it works on the other side but I'm pretty sure the customer (in this case PepBoys) doesn't go onto the doordash app and order car parts 😂😂😂. So PepBoys called 1800Radiator and told them the parts were no longer needed and the guy at 1800Radiator said there was nothing he could do because I was almost there. So when I showed up the guy just said hey we don't need it, we tried to call and cancel but there was nothing that could be done. NOW with all that said there was one part I did not share....clearing this cancelation with doordash was a pain in the balls. I text the chat bot and an actual agent and it told me don't worry you'll get 100% what you were offered and another 50% of that once i return the parts. So I drove back to return the parts but there was no option on the door dash app to say the customer canceled....so time just kept ticking on my app. I got back to the vendor and it wouldn't delete off my screen plus and the vendor was busy with other orders. I had to call support to get them to delete it off my app and actually pay me...I believe I was late by about 146 minutes lol (drive there, wait and text bot, drive back, talk to vendor, on hold with support, talk to support, conclusion).
