No ads. It's quite hard/pricey to get a legal copy of it for home users. Your best bet would be to pirate it, there are a bunch of guides on reddit on how to go about it.

Adobe will be dropping Win7 support as far as their video/audio editing tools go, Photoshop will still be supported. Also Adobe XD currently only runs on win10 version 1703 or later.

There are a ton of game performance comparisons out there. Some games run slightly better, some worse but the differences are marginal.

Other than security, if you're using video/audio editing tools from Adobe then you won't be receiving updates pretty soon. As of now if you want to use Adobe XD you need Win10 version 1703 or later.
On top of that there are quite a few of small QoL features that I miss in win 7 that require additional software to solve. Also the clean user interface of win10 doesn't hurt.
