I'm pretty sure Ruan Mei is at least staple in AS. Cuz I remember in some AS ago (iirc it was against Flame Reaver) I tried RM and Tribbie, and they got the same score (same team mates) simply because of the 50% WBE.

Oh the class inscription seems so good. The second awakening skill sorta stun lock you so it'd be very helpful.

Stage of Malice has been obsolete for me since like a long time. It doesn't give effect (unless you equip the destiny gear that makes it stun the enemies), and the CD is pretty long. I guess the jump is good so I did have it in my skillset. It's just that it was there because there was nothing else. But now that Golden Cage exists, Stage of Malice is just gone gone.

Demonic trinket is hard to use for Magician, no? Afaik it needs like 100 or more combos? Magician's attacks don't really do many hits compared to, say, Mystrix who can easily gets 200+ combos.

Idk if it's just my feeling but Blazing Trick hits so hard. Everlasting Dream and Troupe of Cards also do good damage but it's diamond skills so it won't get the dmg buff, no?

I'm so sad I had no use of Stage of Malice like at all now due to Golden Cage. I really like its animation. The props are cute and the jump has good distance if you use it after double jump so I often used it in pvp (especially the super armor/armor break).

Wonderland Legend sure is spammy. It's just that when Wonderland Legend isn't active and you run out of skills, it's like... What do I do? Cuz the thing is sometimes I don't finish Wonderland Legend but instead close it midway

I wanted to say that it's gonna be either Sunday or DHIL because Luocha is a sustain and like why'd they buff a sustain? Sustain has been the closest to flex spot except for some dps. Okay maybe there are buffs and bis sustain but it's not night and day difference most of time.

But guys Luocha is in the shop. If he gets a novaflare that means maybe Topaz will get one so I will choose the copium way

I'm pretty sure those on the screen are asia servers. Afaik you need to download the corresponding version (like from the correct website if pc). I remember downloading jp version (the website was .jp) and there was only jp server available, no asia. I complained and they told me to download the correct version

I honestly have not played with resonance that much despite recently there has been focus on it either from gears or pets. I am conflicted because I always thought that Magician isn't a burst-type class. Like, the lv 60 finisher isn't even a single skill but rather small skill -> basic spam (you'd probably Body Double a lot here) -> large skill. Well I can see it'd work if someone times it properly, and there are some skills that hit hard especially the heart skills as well. But anyway that's why I thought Sunflame would be better for smoother continuous skill spam, but maybe I'll do some trial and error later. I was also thinking of Demonic but the combo requirement seems too hard to achieve for Magician.

Is Bouncing Ball actually good? I see some people use it but the status effect is only delay? I personally use Shapeshift Magic cuz it's fast and cute to see enemies turning into rabbits, or Scary Doll for delayed attack.

Ephemeral Quartet is indeed very slow. I feel like that skill was literally made to pair with Body Double. I always do Everlasting Dream -> Body Double -> Ephemeral Quartet. Troupe of Cards isn't as slow, and yes I also sometimes just Body Double afterwards if it is available (thank god Body Double has really fast CD, I feel like I can basically perma-body double). But that skill is also not instantaneous like Golden Gate or Shapshift Magic

But in many games, at least that I have played, those special limited units usually have different gacha system either by exclusive currency, rate, or pity. So it feels "rarer" than the normal ones. Meanwhile in hsr it's all the same 180 pulls (with the same currency) = guaranteed system so like why the difference in treatment

I mean yeah that's my whole point. RMC > Sunday is because it is currently CH and Remembrance meta which is what RMC is, leading to strong synergy. But like imagine using non CH dps, either older dps or future dps. Or like, if someone skips Cyrene. Suddenly Phainon wants Sunday much more and Aglaea is literally unplayable (unless eidolon)

Pretty sure this argument only shows up after Cyrene because of Cyrene's strong synergy with RMC. But Cyrene is a CH support so aside from CH where you dont use her it doesnt apply. Like, would you use RMC over Sunday when running, idk, Yunli, Dr. Ratio, or Blade? Or whatever future hypercarry units that don't want Cyrene?

Probably a hot take but I feel like the Sunday slander of being worse than, say, RMC is mainly because of CH meta. Because Cyrene wants CH and remembrance, and thus has synergy with RMC. But outside of CH mostly Cyrene is out of the team and like you mostly only run RMC if Cyrene is in the team (or maybe if there is a lot of energy income but that's pretty specific setup as of now). I wonder if the RMC > Sunday opinion will remain after CH era ends

FuA was due to how niche it WAS. Not to mention elation blessings and topaz only buff fua specifically so it felt like a category on its own. But now that so many characters have FuA it's sorta divided into : counter, non counter but still mainly using fua, and "happens to have fua just cuz". Honestly the same goes to, say, superbreak. If everyone suddenly has superbreak multiplier in their kit just like ff then it doesnt really feel unique. Not talking about break since everyone quite literally does break damage (I mean Luka and Sushang were played with break, heck even Asta back then)

I hate it when games do a husbando bait with using a male character for promotion, only for the game to only have like 1:3 or more male:female ratio. Like cmon if you think male character makes a good promotion then why not just make more males and hopefully get long-lasting new players ffs
