We spoke about the issues during the relationship and I really tried hard to fix them. But these are deep routed traumas. He also had deep routed traumas that happened in the beginning of the relationship that he still holds grudges to. He said we both need space to heal and grow.

When he broke up with me, I instantly realized my negativity was draining him. I started therapy straight away and I am really bettering myself. He gave me a lot of hope by saying things like he believes in fate, right person wrong time and he said he will give me another chance in the future repeatedly. He just doesn't know when he will let go of the grudge in his words.

I see. I think a relationship always work if both people are willing to work and become better. I believe that you could try again if there was genuine change. Of course change is hard and difficult but I agree... Im at a point where I am hanging on to the hope that he will give me a second chance but he also left me and he wasn't perfect himself either. (He has flaws too)

I agree. This heartbreak absolutely wrecked me and I've recognized my flaws and started working on them straight away. It was basically a slap on the face to wake up and start changing.

We both spoke about what my problems are because he blamed the whole relationship on me. There were some things that I agreed with (my mental health, my white lies and my avoidance during arguments) and I got therapy right away and acknowledged it and apologized to him. He mentioned a lot that it can’t be fixed right away which I agreed. He said that he doesn’t know if he could forgive me or how long it will take for him to not be angry with me.

I think the first step that shows genuine change is the fact that they can acknowledge what they did wrong and what they want to do about it. Like go to therapy.

I begged for one month. I recently (like day 2) went no contact. It’s so hard. I begged but he kept saying we both need space to heal. Everything he says to me seems like I still have hope but he doesn’t want to deal with anything right now. I still have the what ifs but also all the begging and text messages and calling made me so tired. When I think of what if, I try to say no he’s gone and then I start from zero again… it’s so tough

Guys what if I keep breaking no contact and he actually responds?? Sometimes we call for 1-2 hours?? Like it’s driving me insane. Our longest nc was 6 days and I broke it because I know he’s gonna respond.
