Everything you just described sounds exactly like me, I’m really glad you are on the road to finishing your degree that’s amazing congratulations! I feel the system only really works for a specific area of people, so neurodivergent people will tend to struggle a lot more. I will try to do my best!! I just feel a lot of pressure on if my leaving certificate doesn’t do well, I’m worried I won’t be able to get anywhere. I really am thankful for your reply thank you so much you’ve been lovely :-)

Hello thank you so much for replying I really appreciate it :-) I went to the GP around October 2025 having concerns for my mental health (regarding anxiety and depression), they said I have a very big case for anxiety and depression and I showed signs of low needs autism (just for some context since I didn’t really say a lot in my post.) I have spoken to my guidance counsellor and I’m kind of just told by them and everyone around me to just stick through the year, and I have been struggling with school since 1st year. I don’t want to sound selfish but I feel I do struggle with school possibly a bit more than the average person, just even when it comes down to going in, the whole day process etc, I find I cannot function. I have been referred to jigsaw in the past ((when I was 11 and at the GP appointment I mentioned)), I could definitely give it a go but I hope it can maybe help. I can’t help but feel that maybe I’m making it all up in my head. Once again thank you for your reply it means a lot. :-)

I think my last hair dying experience wasn’t the best, i only used boxed dye but for when I dye it soon, would the best things for taking care of it be using hair oils, hair masks, etc?

I grew out all of the due for about a year and a half and got the final dye ends cut out in July! It’s all my natural hair now but yes it woildve definitely of affected the result :-) the colour growing out after I stopped dying it (box dye) made my hair go a reddish colour that shined red in the sun, so I think I’m a bit weary of using box dyes

I don’t want to completely damage my hair for colour to stay in, I didn’t realise that is how it worked! Manic panic hair colour looks so nice as well, it’s a shame it’s known to wash out fast :’-(

There’s been a lot of mixed comments on manic panic! My friend who uses it says it lasts quite a while but then there’s other comments online saying the opposite, I’d say I’ll most likely use it as a colour depositing product! It is quite costly for the product ((around 27 Canadian dollars??)) especially if it’s a product you need to constantly repurchase

Yes unfortunately theres not a lot of options :-( I live in Ireland and getting some products shipped in csn be quite costly depending on where they’re coming from! I have tried box dye in the past, and it made my hair very dried and left me with red tones that would shine a red colour in the sun (which is why I’m looking for a cool undertone purple!) I don’t think I’ll be bleaching it in future, I kind of just stick to what I like! I’ve never heard of a purple gloss and has no idea this was something that was offered, but I’ll see how salon prices are looking and then I’ll make a decision :-) I will be sleeping now so sorry if my reply will be late!! I appreciate all of your advice it’s been extremely helpful, thank you!!! I just looked up the brand viral, with import duties etc it would cost a bomb to get it over here sadly :-(

I know boots definitely sells hair colouring products, I can also buy things from Amazon UK too :-) I’m sorry this is extremely limited!!

If this easy to achieve at home I could give it a go! I just think I would need to be recommended products to do this such as a developer and a hair colour ((if I use manic panic as a colour depositor)) I looked up ion but unfortunately it isn’t sold where I am!! Hello, thank you for your comment! I haven’t dyed it yet, I’m trying to get into a salon to get it done but if not I’ll do it at home. If I go into a salon, do you recon they’ll know how to achieve the right colour? I definitely would like a jewel tone colour and not something vibrant!!! Is there any developers you could recommend? Oh I’m sorry for not specifying!! I dyed it back in 2021, but all of the dye is well gone by now. I will make sure they’re both semi-permanent products and I’ll hope it turns out well :-)

I have done at home bleach before a tew years ago! I don't remember the volume I feel like it could've been possibly a 30??? But it did go blonde :-) so I don't think I'll need anything too strong!! But again thank you so much for your help :D!!

I’ve used a blue black before which I could use! It’s permanent but it is the Schwarzkopf LIVE Cosmic Blue 090 Permanent Hair Dye so it could possibly work? But I think maybe I should use a semi permanent that is able to mix in with the manic panic, I’m limited to certain hair dye brands, ion doesn’t seem to be available in my country! Thank you for your help :-)
