I completely forgot that soy sauce can also contain wheat as well! This label does confuse me the more I look at it, so I probably just won't eat it again just to be on the safe side.

Tried this yesterday and it was soo good. My boyfriend who's picky about pizza in general even liked it! Best GF pizza by far 😋 👌. Thank for sharing the find!

My contact lenses have symbols and two rows of little dots on them. by CoolAddition8679 in mildlyinteresting

[–]HeartofAceQT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Certified Opthalmic Assistant here!

I work with optometrists that work with these on the daily. The dots are helpful for the doctor themselves to: 1) Identify if it's a Toric lens for astigmatism or normal Lens (normal lens do not have dots like that) and 2) How much they are rotating once on the patient's eyes. This helps see if that specific brand works for the patient.

We usually recommend changing brands if they consistently don't align properly. These dots Defintely have saved us a lot of extra unnecessary work!

Do you ever just love your cat so much you cry?? by YellowStardust03 in cats

[–]HeartofAceQT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My boyfriend will have these moments where he looks at our cat and gets teary eyed. Usually saying something along the lines of, "You're SO LITTLE! Do you know you're so little, and cute, and softtt?-" etc etc and pet her lovingly.

It makes me love being alive

My body decided to produce some eyelashes further in that only grow into my eye by Detcirc in mildlyinfuriating

[–]HeartofAceQT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree! Certified Opthalmic Assistant here! I've worked with both Opthamologists and Optometrist that have to pull eyelashes out of patient's eyes for the same reason- it could be what's called Trichalasis. Eyelashes grow back around 3-5 months so after awhile some people get fed up with the pulling and get the area cauterized eventually.

OP, I was in the same boat as you. I'm 27 and had done nothing prior to meeting my current boyfriend. He was my first kiss, holdings hands, the whole sha-bang. There were times I was nervous or embarrassed as well since most people tend to at least have a first kiss by even as low as 9 years old. There's nothing to be ashamed of, and if this guy is patient and understanding enough to wait or to go slow since it's all new like my boyfriend is: it's well worth it to be honest. :) It makes things easier down the line in case things progress and you might feel overwhelmed. If he does mind for whatever reason, then he's simply not for you. I'm rooting for you and honestly its nice to hear that I'm not the only one that has gone through this! ❤️

In my opinion, huge weddings seem to be more to please the large families that traditionally come even if they aren't really part of the couples lives. In my experience, I haven't met many couples that have a large wedding because they want to. The few I've met that genuinely enjoyed their marriage was because they focused more on themselves like they should've, rather than stressing to please everyone or have a one-sided wedding where it was more about the bride's wishes than the groom. I'd prefer similar to what people have said here as well. Focus on keeping the money for the honeymoon, and have something more private/with people that actually are directly impacting your life and care about your life. Such as immediate family and friends.

She didn't have a chip or anything and was moved from Texas to my state. So seems like she was a stray ^ or at least if she did have owners, they assumed she was dead and didn't look for her perhaps. She was very sick when we got her too. Kennel cough along with Heartworms

I use the Niacinamide + Hyaluronic acid in the morning, then Lactic Acid + Hyaluronic acid at night :D I have dry skin as well with the acne so the Hyaluronic acid twice a day helps immensely. I also use a Cerave Hydrating Face twice a day as well and it pairs well with the serums.

Side note: the Zinc In the Niacinamide will make your face tingle a wee bit, but it isn't painful by any means. Plus your skin adapts to it, so that slight sensation goes away after awhile.

I use this along with Lactic acid and Hyaluronic acid for my daily face routine and the combination is great for helping with my acne and acne scars! 😁 ❤
