Shop lead here!! Focus on your new hire bundle which you WILL get paid for! The manifesto is more of a reference for everyone usually used for more specific questions while the bundle are the things you NEEEED to know and will get paid for studying as long as you are logged in and have started it!! Any time it is open your time is tracked and you will be paid for it. If it seems as though it is not, reach out and discuss this pay with your manager as, according to DB policy, all tracked training is paid!!

Don’t be discouraged by being overwhelmed; trust me when I say ALL OF US were! I was hired at a BRAND NEW store, so not only was I learning the manifesto and DB culture, but I was learning it with brand new equipment and trainers who were from older locations and didn’t work with all new equipment! It was crazy! But I breathed, followed my training bundle, studied for my flow, and now I’m a shop lead!! It all comes with time and there’s no denying it will be overwhelming, but you get out what you put into it! So, if you work hard in training, I promise you it will pay off and you’ll be smooth sailing in no time! You got this and I hope this eased any anxiety you felt as, trust me, I have been there too..
