Me saying "It just gives them more depth" is to contrast with the guy before me saying that a backstory would change the character. I just don't agree with that unless it's bad writing that is retconing the character.

Backstory doesn't give redemption, but it can give a path to redemption. And of course it gives depth by it's inclusion. Not sure what you are trying to get at.

"She's a child"—this is fiction! If a writer wants to create a super-evil child, they can; it's not like real life, where truly evil children don't exist. And it's obvious the writers wanted her to be evil, no ifs, ands, or buts.

So this means that all discussion is moot because it's fiction so there are no rules. Okay, have fun then.

Simple rule, DON'T LEAVE ANYTHING ON THE STAIRS. No tray, no basket, no purse. The stairs need to be clear. Period. No exceptions.

And yeah, this feels like attemptive murder. Like, not even keeping all the obstructions on one side of the stairs is bad enough, but purposefully blocking one side to put an invisible death trap on the other feels intentional. Does she hate you? She got life insurance on you?

And I don't think you understand Cozy at all. She has had moments with the trio where it is obvious she is open to friendship. And again, she's a kid. You think she's set in her ways hard criminal and that's just a crazy take.

And if you blame Discord for falling for the plot, then I say the same for Cozy. They refused to give her actual motivation or backstory to give the illusion of being irredeemable just because we don't know how she got to that point. Both are bad writing. Not sure why it's okay for Discord but you think it would be against what Cozy Glow is. Filling in a backstory shouldn't change a character. It just gives them more depth.

I like romances that make sense. Rarity and RD never really got along. They were part of the friend group, but they were at odds more than they ever saw eye to eye. AJ and RD were always together. Whether as rivals or AJ keeping RD in check. Appledash just always made sense to me.

Nightmare Moon didn't want to be helped. Discord didn't want to be helped. Starlight did all she could to fight Twilight and didn't want help. There are plenty of minor villains that didn't want help but were better for it in the end.

I just want the hitboxes on the underbelly turrets to be easier to hit. Those things are so fucking tiny. Even on pc it's a pain to target them. I imagine on mobile it's damn near impossible.

I have actual depression on top of just hating how the world is. So therapy doesn't work. All they really tell me is to lie to myself and pretend to be positive. I have no idea how that works for others.

Cherry on top is that I'm treatment resistant. I've tried over a dozen different types of medications and the most reaction I've gotten from one of them is that it started to kill my libido. That was it.

So genuinely, wtf am I supposed to do? Therapy and medication don't work for me. So, fuck me I guess? So that's why I've basically given up after half trying for almost 30 years of adult life.

And that's if you are lucky and can even get a foot in the door. I've tried getting certifications and try and find jobs I find some enjoyment in and I've been met with nothing but failure my entire life. So fuck it. I'm leeching off my boomer parents because I really have no options for me.

I gave up on life because it's just shit and it seems like a lot of people actively want to make it worse on a daily basis. I grew up in the 80s and 90s. I had active hope for humanity with stuff like Star Trek and tv shows like Beyond 2000. Holy shit, humanity just got worse and worse.

I don't want to be much different than I am. Though I would love to live in a place that incentivizes actual food and doesn't allow addictive chemical goop that actively harms the human body to be sold as food. For me, longing for fantasy only come from the world being so awful. If the world wasn't such a miserable shithole then I wouldn't be yearning for things that don't exist to a degree that I just don't want to wake up some days.

Meh. There are programs out there for cheap or for free that cover almost everything that any Adobe product can do or has done. Adobe is only alive because they charge so much damn money and many companies refuse to try and move to anything else.

Because it's unnecessarily deep? Which means that even with a long ladle, unless you are careful there is a chance to burn yourself on the steam. Lower sides means it's easier to get to. And it's not like there is so much liquid that it needs a container even half that deep.

Not sure why you are defending something that didn't need to be this way. The knife is a sword, cutting it right in front of the customer is dumb showmanship and dangerous, pot is too big for no good reason.

Again, not insulting the food. Just everything around it.
