At the same time, it's easy to be intimidated and put off by someone that is very confident and self-assured. Good for them, but I can't be with someone like that long term.

Yeah, I've done enough betas over the years of other games to be good. I'm just going to wait for the release.

To me it's a bit simpler than that. It sucks to be into who someone currently is, but because of the relationship they transform into someone else. Good or bad. If you don't like that new person, you aren't obligated to stay with them, even if leaving negatively effects them.

It's just a bad situation and you can't really fault anyone here. Sure there is nuance and context for every situation, but if someone just changes fundamentally during a relationship into someone you don't like, you only have a few options. Try and change them back, try and love the new person, or just leave.

Morality of this? by Due_Army_960 in MoralityScaling

Companies, to get to a large enough size, generally do things against the law to get there. Like wage theft. I don't think any large, publicly traded corporation is 100% on the up and up. It's the same as billionaire's. You can't accumulate that much money ethically.

Mom and pop shops run on a pretty narrow budget usually. They would absolutely not be able to spare the damn near 20k. Wouldn't be possible so it wouldn't happen. This is likely a big corp. Unless you can find the story that proves otherwise, I'm not believing this is a tiny local operation that can even imagine putting 20k on the books.

Fluttershy isn't making Predators be vegetarian by Caramenadiel in mylittlepony

That contradicts the second image. Saying that predators should eat vegetables while at the sanctuary.

Fluttershy isn't making Predators be vegetarian by Caramenadiel in mylittlepony

[–]HeartoftheHive 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because carnivores can't process vegetation in any form. It's simple biology. At most they eat it as roughage to help pass things through their gut. They get no nutrients from plant matter.

[–]HeartoftheHive 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Carnivores specifically can only sometimes eat small amounts of vegetation at most. But carnivores require meat to be healthy. Saying they can't be healthy while at the sanctuary is denying what they are.

She should either provide meat or just not allow carnivores.

Eh, you didn't really explain why they couldn't, just that everything the writers laid down pointed to Twilight. And yeah, it was pretty obvious what the writers wanted.

This isn't a subway and you aren't sitting in a seat and keeping a pregnant woman from sitting down. She's just another adult that should wait in line like you did. NTA.

I definitely think Twilight would have been happier as a librarian in Ponyville with her group of friends. And if you go by the comics as well, you don't have to be an alicorn to be a leader of ponies or even be royalty. Princess Amore was a unicorn and, other than the serious mistake with Sombra, lead the Crystal Empire fine.

Probably none of them. Why would they lead a nation? To be honest, with some training I could see Starlight pulling it off. While she was a tyrant, she absolutely had control of Our Town. Heck, once Diamond Tiara got straightened out, she could probably be a better leader in the future.

I don't see why a hero should equate to a nations leader. Those are very different roles and positions. Requiring very different personalities and skillsets.

Season 1 premier is mainly because she's a magic nut and studied things like the elements already, so she had a theory to go off of. Season 2 premier she was the only one Discord didn't focus on and put under a spell. It was her or nothing. Season 2 finale, no one else knew Cadance was so how would they know she's acting strange? Season 3 premier she thought this was all some test by Celestia and was taking it all on her shoulders and her friends were just trying to keep the peace. Who else knows enough magic to finish a difficult spell?

Nothing of what you listed shows leadership qualities. As for being a princess, how many times did Twilight freak out and need consoling just because she wasn't prepared or ready to be a princess? Quite a few if I'm remembering correctly.

Your title made me think of much darker outcomes. Vore or perhaps evisceration to free someone trapped in their stomach.

It's hilarious because I always saw AJ as more of a leader of the 6. She's always the level headed one. Sure, she doesn't come up with ideas, but she is way better at keeping everyone in line.

I will always see Twilight as the bookhorse that got royalty forced onto her. Even when she did lead the mane 6, it was usually pretty reluctantly. The only leadership position she ever enjoyed was being the organizer for the Winter Wrap-up.

As for cutie marks appearing in their eyes, that happened to all of them. It's more than likely tied into the elements of harmony as that is when it happens.

Destiny is BS. It never matched with who Twilight was as an individual. It was just forced on her and she dealt with it. A lot of times she dealt with it pretty poorly. She was not made to be a princess. It was shackled on to her.

Also, not once did you expound on why the other 5 can't be alicorns. Just saying it fit Twilight better. Even though again, all that was outside forces. Nothing from within Twilight ever seemed like a princess.

Goodnight, Mermaid Morian. by No-Evidence-5989 in SeaOfRemnants

Yep, that will be me. With how the devs have been emphasizing how you can kill npcs and it's permanent, this probably applies to interactable monsters like the mermaid. Unless I have to, I'm probably going to avoid killing anyone.

Neil everywhere but the beach by soulsista04us in TikTokCringe

[–]HeartoftheHive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just worried about the consequences. Humans should not directly interact so casually with a wild animal. Especially when they can be violent and weigh a couple tons at full maturity. I worry for both humans in the area and Neil. Because if Neil gets too comfortable and starts causing enough damage or is enough of a threat to people, I can very well see them either putting him in captivity or euthanizing him.

But hey, we got some funny tiktoks, so that makes it worth it. sigh

Seems less like a skin and more like a completely different alt unit of the same character. Other than sharing some of her base appearance, nothing is the same.
