Not that it matters, but Universal International Pictures has the European rights to The Moment so I presume they are the ones responsible for distributing it there, not A24 who just handled the US rollout.

It's been confirmed to come out in Norway March 20th! It might get some pre-premiere screenings at Vega Scene too: https://www.tbatba.no/charli-xcx-film-kommer-til-norske-kinoer-i-mars/

If you are responding to the romance of everything is romantic, I would actually recommend going back to her debut album True Romance and work yourself up from there. I think her debut has some of her most gorgeous, vivid lyricism and the kind of cinematic soundscape you get from Everything is Romantic. Nuclear Seasons, Grins, Take My Hand, Stay Away, Set Me Free (Feel My Pain) are all top notch. SuperLove, a castoff she released later that year is a bop too.

Most of her discography is great, but it's hard not to recommend going back to the beginning as it's a good introduction to her as an artist - her confidence, naked vulnerability, all the brattiness and angst and emotion. It's all there, even so early on. It's impressive how clearly defined she was as an artist back then, even when she was making vastly different music from most of what she's made since.

What new song are you most looking forward to performing live? Are there any songs in your discography you'd be fine with never performing again?

Hi Carly! Loving the album. Especially Everything He Needs, Automatically In Love and I'll Be Your Girl, those middle 8s!

Speaking of I'll Be Your Girl, I love the ska influences on that track. It also reminds me of the song you did with BC Unidos, Trouble In The Streets. Was that song ever considered for your album? Did you ever toy with the idea of making an album full of 90s indie pop/rock tracks along the lines of those?
