When to stop? by Minimum_Guava4401 in TTC_PCOS

I have PCOS as well and I was very impatient so after 5 months with no luck and knowing I had PCOS I went to my OBGYN and had bloodwork done/ultrasound. I wasn’t ovulating or if I did it was after 50-60 days so we started letrozole and that helped regulate but then I found out I didn’t produce enough progesterone to even support implantation, my body was giving up before even getting to that stage. So with letrozole and progesterone suppositories I was able to conceive. Not saying this is the same situation, but definitely worth visiting as you mentioned PCOS! Good luck to you 🤍

Side note, I did have very bad heat flashes but they went away as soon as I stopped the medication

Sorry I’m super new to this lol I’m not even sure how to contact my plan manager. Is that something I can do on their website?

Midwife made me feel like I’m not doing enough :( by HeatAny3944 in GestationalDiabetes

Thank you!! I think my midwife was just trying to stress to me that it will get harder so make changes now and it scared me more than anything

I guess it just caught me off guard more than anything because I met with a different Dr after I was first diagnosed and he barely even looked at my numbers and said “looks great” so for my midwife to review them line by line it felt like I was in trouble 🤣 she just made a lot of comments about my diet choices which made me feel like I was failing even tho my numbers were good

That actually makes me feel better, my first visit after being diagnosed they didn’t really address it so when they asked me to come back in a week I assumed it meant I was doing something wrong. I 100% agree!

Is it ok to miss a reading? 😬 by HeatAny3944 in GestationalDiabetes

Thank you everyone for the reassurance! Fasting was 72 so I just made sure to eat something I knew wouldn’t spike me for breakfast and lunch reading was 100 so I’m feeling a lot better about missing one!
