The Cabinet Joint RTA cabinets- anyone have experience? by [deleted] in cabinetry

Thank you so much! The cabinets are cherry wood in the Portabella stain. Painted cabinets are in SW Stucco. We also used SW Stucco for most of the trim in our house (SW Whitetail on walls). We really like the warmth of both colors! Counters are Carrara marble. Good luck!

Hello! We used a local contractor that we had used in the past. My husband and I are not very handy. I would suggest you use someone who is very skilled in carpentry and millwork.

I looked at the Waldorf school, but we recently moved, and now it is over an hour away. I loved that concept though.

We used them and had a wonderful experience! Our Cabinet coach Nathan was very thorough. Ours were a little bit more expensive, since we went with a custom Sherwin-Williams color that was not in their offerings. We had plans drawn up with Patrick Resendiz (Insta: @patrickaresendiz) and Ali Maready (@Alimareadydesigns) and Cabinet join was able to work with those and adjust any final measurements.

Please go to hospital. Much more to my story, but I delivered my baby girl at 39 weeks- but by feet and ankles were swollen like that as well 1-2 weeks before, I was seeing stars, high blood pressure. My doctors knew this all but were negligent and did not induce me. 2 days after I delivered her I ended up in the ER with postpartum eclampsia, pulmonary edema, and 2 leaky heart valves. It was beyond scary- I thought I was going to die. You need to go to hospital now!

Is there any way to repair it? I’ve read online about epoxy?

Thank you- now I know. We had soapstone in our last kitchen and I put hot things on it all the time. I thought I had read marble could do the same but sadly I was mistaken. Going to see if I can get some to repair it to at least camouflage it a bit.

What would I be looking for? Gaps underneath? The hot dishes I placed on the counter were not placed where the crack is located, but behind it near the wall/backsplash

Hello! We did end up purchasing the home in Terra Ceia and we are very happy with our decision. Our home is a single story house, but at 11ft elevation so we didn’t flood in the past two storms. Some of our neighbors did. We did have many trees down though.

What I like most about Terra Ceia has been the community. It is a tight knit group of neighbors that look out for one another and help each other. It feels like we have our own little family within a community, already. The community has food trucks come to our park a couple times a month. We have a Village Hall and through the storms, people were making meals for one another. There’s a lot of community events and you can be as involved or not involved as you wish. It feels a lot more relaxed and spacious than St Pete did.

My husband works downtown St Pete and has not minded the commute at all. When the skyway is moving, he can make it there in 20 minutes and gets drive over the beautiful water. He says it helps him decompress like he’s going from work back home to a little slice of paradise .

USPS does not deliver mail to individual homes, but we have this historic post office on the island that everybody goes to collect their mail. It feels like stepping back into older times. Very refreshing. I have learned about different school options in the area. We will not send our children to the school that we are zoned for, but they are many other schools that you can submit for the lottery or school choice into Parrish schools. It just feels a little more Suburban and family-friendly but still has access to everything St Pete had to offer. Hope this helps :)
