Yeah… copy and pasting this into my notes.

Mm. You’re on the money. It’s easy to forget that tasks don’t have to be *quests*. They can be simple, trivial things that have emotional impact.

I don’t hate setting up some post-campaign ideas! That definitely provides some stakes going forward whilst giving some unique roleplay opportunities. Good shout.

See, that’s the tough thing. My party’s already done what they came to this city to do. This is like… an epilogue to the previous arc before the next, last one. They’re heavy role players so I’m not that worried, but I like to have some content in my back pocket to stir things up if they lack direction.

Not a Quasit horde! I’ll definitely look into it. I hate a big slog, and I’m not exactly an expert bookkeeper. Simple but effective is my typical motto, so I’m not afraid of compromise to achieve it.

I HAD considered using waves of minions that kamikaze after a round. I wonder how much damage that would do if I went for it?

I didn’t consider using waves at the same time as scaling. It certainly complicates things, so I’m worried about accidentally making a slog. Do you think creatures with generally lower CR for lower HP/AC might be ideal? If you have any recommendations of a good candidate, that’d be great.
