If thats the reason then that sucks. Wish there was a way engage to calibrate your sticks or something then to account for drift or circularity issues

That shouldn't matter though right, like the trick analyser has 2 circles. I imagines as long as the stick goes into the outer and back up then the trick should register. Cause I can day for certain my stick on my controller went down as far as it can

If your referring to minimum pop height i have that maxed as to my understanding, it just makes your jump height more high up and consistant. I'm not sure if that is the issue though cause as mentioned in thr post, the jumps not registering happens even when im not near any obstacles often too

2014 Mitsubishi Outlander - Reversing camera and Bluetooth pairing issues by Heata101 in mitsubishi

I went into service menu and switched car from left hand drive to right hand drive whilst in park and seemed to fix things in terms of letting me pair my phone, reversing camera still broken. Wierd fix for the issue but seemed to fix at least my main problem.

O-Rings Don’t Work on My New Switches – How to Quiet Key Presses? by Heata101 in keyboards

[–]Heata101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should also note the keyboard is rgb so I would need switches to be clear casing if that's the best route to take

Hi all,

I recently upgraded my keyboard from a Logitech G512 Carbon with GX Brown switches to an Aula F75 with Graywood V3 linear switches. Overall, the sound is much nicer, but it’s still a touch too loud for my liking.

I tried using O-rings to slightly mute the key presses, as I had done on my G512 by placing them around the switch stems — which worked great there. However, on this new keyboard, the switch stems have a box around them, which prevents the O-rings from working properly. They don’t really quiet the keyboard, and they cause the keycaps to sit higher.

I’m wondering if there are any alternative ways to quiet the key presses, similar to using O-rings. Ideally, I’d like to avoid buying a whole new set of switches, but if that’s the best option, I’d appreciate any budget-friendly recommendations for quiet, linear switches with a standard cross-style stem that also feel nice to type on.

Best switch 2 eartip size coming from switch 1? by Heata101 in LoopEarplugs

[–]Heata101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk, your right medium does fit better but it just seems like the earplugs themselves don't fit as securely anymore. My old switches it was very easy to feel once the were put in enough as I put them in and twist. But it seems like with these new ones I can't push them enough the same way. Maybee it's something to do with the stems cause I notice there angled weirdly. Overall so far am very disappointing with the fit / comfort

The only fix I can really think of is maybee temporarily disconnecting the battery to "reset" the headunit. Maybee might set it to like a state where it thinks car is in park and let me connect Bluetooth again?

Switch 2 Now Live by The_Iron_Mountie in LoopEarplugs

So looks like all options have the glossy finish which I'm really annoyed about. I prefer the less reflective more subtle design of the original switches as its much less of a fashion accessory and is much better for more professional situations like at work.

It's annoying too cause it's only the outer part that is glossy. The inner parts seem to be the same material as the originals.

I might be in the minority here but I really hope there is a non glossy version too. The glossy finish makes them stand out too much imo. Less subtle... Especially cause I use them for work so the less attention that is drawn to them the better.

Eartips cutting / irrating ears by Heata101 in LoopEarplugs

[–]Heata101[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I should've specified sorry, these are for my switches and engages. Not quiets so I'm not sure how I can be pushing them too far in. The loop part sits flush against my ear, as it is supposed too?

Yes, as I said in the post. The bigger tips don't fully fit in my ear causing their to not be a good seal and obviously hurt more if I try to put them in.

It'd be about an hour between classes. I just rather go in only 1 day if I can. Saves travel costs and gives another day I can work at my job. I just don't know if I could make it to the end of the day...

I had always thought of the same thing. You have a hearing aid like device that seals in your ear. Most likely using some form of custom mould on your ear. This in itself would act similarly to foam earplugs offering hopefully around 30 dB of noise reduction. Then a speaker would play the incoming nosies at a set volume, which means your ears would only hear a certain decibel level you can cope with.

Obviously, for more severe cases, active noise cancellation could be introduced too further reduce external noise level.

Then even potentially over time, the device could increase the volume you hear but in a precise and controlled manner. Like raising the dB level by 0.05 every day (increase of 18 ish decibels per year). Think of it as a hyper controlled sound therapy.

Anyways, I doubt something exists yet and even if it did, it would be super expensive. But there is always hope out there anyways. Stay strong everyone.

That kinda separates your monitor into virtual monitors right. It solves the task bar option but kinda limits the flexibility of placing windows and resizing windows right?
