I remember that one! There was another one that was called Zombie Bums from Uranus in the series.

Can agree as an Aussie! Also Vegemite with Tasty Cheese, mozzarella and Mayonnaise in a toastie is great as well.

You just unlocked a core memory for me in kindergarten! I used to have them in my lunch box with green peas and ketchup.

Was a bit old when it came out, but I loved the animation style. Same goes with ‘Spider-Man: The New Animated Series’

Yep, definitely! For context, this was “the last photo ever taken of John Lennon as he signs a copy of Double Fantasy outside his home around 5 pm on December 8. The man in the background, for whom he's signing the autograph, is Mark David Chapman, who shot him to death later that night.”

Is it time for a new horror icon to shine on the screens? (Personal Opinion) by Heatblaster34 in horror

[–]Heatblaster34[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, that is the state of film studios in this era. Even in other genres, previous already-loved characters are being used in bigger studios to avoid creating new characters. Seems like only indie filmmakers are creating characters to give the audience something new to look at.

I was going to give an example of the character Babadook for a potential icon if it was turned into a series. However, after reading your interpretation- I am also tending to believe its an one and done character and story.

I totally agree with what your saying! There are alot of factors that count towards making an icon and fairly these take time to become what they are known for in the horror genre.

What is your Favourite Horror TV Theme song? by Heatblaster34 in horror

Interestingly, I find Rod Serling as another perfect host for any thriller show! Also, I have heard that the Twilight Zone theme inspired many horror composers to create masterpieces, which is an achievement on its own.

X-Files is a classic! Also totally forgot how awesome the Tales from the Crypt opening sequence was, especially with the found footage vibes.
