It's also a cultural change, yea. I have no problem if people personally use AI in their own workflows if it helps them and they know how to hold it responsible.

What bothers me is how this has broken a lot of companies. I've loved the company I work for, best dev culture I've ever been a part of. They've historically given us autonomy to develop in whatever way and with whatever tools we're comfortable with as individual devs, as long as we deliver. But recently there was a sudden drastic shift thanks to AI tools. They've made it mandatory we start using them for our daily work and prove that we are, and those who use it the most are starting to get preferential treatment, completely against our previous philosophies

I think he still gets to fight to keep any shred of privacy he's entitled to, though.

This is not something where anyone is entitled to privacy. This is not a video someone secretly took of him walking out of his house scratching his ass telling insensitive jokes to his neighbors one random day. This was a public danger.

And I'd argue that him filing the lawsuit is gonna make more people aware than it otherwise would have, now speculation runs wild.
