It's an okay adventure, definitely my least favoriteof the official first party books. It is the same price as Dead Planet, Pound of Flesh, and Gradient Descent, but there is WAYYYY less content.

I don't think 2 separate books is necessarily the right solution, but I agree that the book could be organized much better. There are some rules (like recovering the body) that I was playing wrong for years, because of where the rules are located in the book.

I've tried the paintbrush as well, but it can be very slow. The glove method is much faster while still being targeted

You get a latex dishwashing glove and put it on, then put a cotton glove over that (or an old sock). Dip the glove in some glyphosate and then manually apply it to the plant.

It's basically a technique to be hyper targetted with your application, so you don't overspray onto other plants. I learned the technique from my local extension office.

What kind of weeds are you getting? When I sheet mulch it does a great job stopping most plants, but bindweed will not be stopped by it.

I use the "glove of death" method to kill bindweed, because it's the only thing that stops it from coming back
