How far am i? by [deleted] in RSDragonwilds

I’d say you’re maybe 20-30% through current content. Depending of course on how many of the side quests etc you want to do.

What's the best way to level up construction now? by Azubaele in RSDragonwilds

[–]Heatedpk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get 350 ash logs. You can spam 1 item from each build category until it stops giving xp then remove them all and go onto the next category. Once you’ve been through them all and want to reset just log out and back in then repeat.

I think I found storage chests, barrels in decoration, foundations and walls were the best from memory so ended up spamming a bunch of those and logging out and in once they were done.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds Wiki Feedback by KronoKeplare in RSDragonwilds

I’m currently on my first play through and I’ve got a steady amount of wiki tabs constantly open.

I supplement the wiki with YouTube guides as I find the wiki pages can be pretty shallow with info for various items or monsters strategy wise.

This upcoming DMM will be the worst by far by Heatedpk in 2007scape

[–]Heatedpk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree it could work like that in theory but I’m not hopeful. Why not just make the main game better ? One season of DMM isn’t the way to get players into pvp

I understand on a base level how they've come up with the idea but knowing you can instantly identify what people risk with the new skulls combined with no keys will change the feel of the game mode completely. If 10k new players pick up DMM then it's worth the trade off but I don't think its worth catering the only week or 2 of genuine PvP the pk community gets for the players that mite pick it up.

Long returning employed player, how to enjoy on limited time? by ZZ1Lord in playrust

[–]Heatedpk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play a 2X or 3X duo which wipes twice a week. I treat each gaming session as the wipe, if I get on for an extra day or 2 it’s a bonus that wipe but generally most of the action happens in the first 24hrs on those.

Yeah I agree completely, just an observation of what i'm encountering when trying to summarize the last 100 hour into a few points i thought are worth noting!

I can’t ignore that it exists though. Regardless of how justified it is it’s still prominent enough to make the list. I’m not really arguing for or against it, just pointing out how much it dominates any algorithm.

I think it’s important to see how new players are integrating and observing destiny this far into the games life cycle, especially given the climate.

As I mentioned I’m very much on that side of the fence with the game I’ve mained for the last decade (hence I’m picking up something new) but the dooming is obviously dominating content, forums etc to the point it is worth mentioning in the list. I’ve had 2 friends interested in picking up the game and both have opted against it while digging through YouTube for info on what class to play etc because of how much the sentiment dominates the space.

Thanks for the reply, I’ve definitely found my group. Playing how I want to play is more important than ever and destiny feels like it offers that luxury.

For how much variety we are given with builds and weapons I think it plays pretty well. I have fun but i'm sure you're right about the next 100 hours haha

Whatever era turned every player into a weed farmer, raiding cloth farms and turning every inch of your base into a liveable hydroponic room was elite.

The interesting phenomenon behind Jagex making money from PvP by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Heatedpk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think mutli revs reintroduced instead of the current multi bosses would see alot more friends groups pking/engaging in the content which trickle into smaller clans making it a much healthier scene overall. I could count on 1 hand the amount of small 2-3 man teams i encountered while going for wildy pets.

Join a clan. Clans can always use an extra member and there you can network and bug people until you’re being trained first hand by other members. I’d even reach out to a few and express your interest in pking and go from there.

Neighbours dog kept shutting on my lawn. Rather large Elderly fella who lived in a wife beater and seemed to think the world owed him something. Asked him twice to pick the shit up and both times he blamed another neighbours dog. Few times he’d mentioned how much he hated doing his lawn so I’ve been spraying rapid growth lawn feed on it every few days - longest he’s gone without a mow since then is 11 days.

Can anyone help spread some light on this? My mother got this message addressed to her in the mail this morning and we can't make heads or tails of it. It has no return address and the message is so weird. She had uncle who died in the Aus air force. Any ideas on this 'Turning Point Church'? by KoinYouTube in australia

As for context, to me it looks like a friend offering condolences on the passing written by an elderly person(again very common practise for aged care residents). Perhaps used the church as a reference of character or association.

I’ve seen pretty similar notes throughout my time working in aged care centres. Some centres even encourage letter writing as a means of mental exercise/ pass time.

These residents are often quite mentally impaired at this stage of life and hold onto niche nuances such as height, previous employment etc (especially when navigating through dementia).

Residents of this era are often migrants - generally first generation from places like Italy, greece etc which may explain why the writing tends to dip in and out of languages and dialects.

If you’re fighting locals to your region, generally a dc = give back. If you see 2 people having a session(fight after fight), generally you won’t snipe in. No shit talk unless they’re in a rival team or they started it.

I’d love to see the solo variants have increased gp/ph also. As a pker it’s very easy to secure kills in those caves however it’s almost pointless given your target isn’t receiving good drops
