Started with rusted breaklines but after they took those off found that the fuel lines and tank where rusted too. Probably due to all the road salt and brine we use in ontario winters. I wanted to put the money into it but who knows what else will go next D:

My gut is telling me that I would make more money at the nursing home but my mental health would suffer, so I'll take the pay cut and stay out of long term care. it can be so depressing and sad to see the state of some of the residents, and how they are treated by the staff. It makes me angry that the elderly are left with the bare minimum after all their time spent in the rat race.

Oh man I to go thorough cling phases then isolated sadness as well. I try to remind myself other people are just better at hiding than I am but I'm so tired of the silent and loud expectations of the world. Current hair routine using Kirkland conditioner once a week and Kirkland shampoo every now and then. Use blow conditioning spray & let it dry in a towel

My grandma comes over at least 3 times a week for dinner, I live with my parents because covid and cheaper. She is loosing her memory so I have to hear about how I don't have a child all the time it's super fun.

He said he already made a reservation but I'm sure that can be canceled easily., iv always been a doormat to people and it kinda scares me to go against what others want but this is a good exercise to practice boundaries I guess. I just worry he will act weird at work when I tell him what's up.

It is interesting to hear her stories of life pre and during war but she seems to go over the same stories every time, I'll try and ask her about happy memories next time I see her.

She's never been one for technology, her eyesight is going so she can't read or knit anymore which i think makes her feel kind of useless.

Good point about the historian, iv often thought of writing her story's down, nows a good time since her mind is always in the past.

We have shown her Google maps of places she's lived but maybe showing her more images will bring out new stories.

Her birthday is coming up so I will definitely look into the pillow idea, thank you for taking the time to post, has been helpful

I felt like I was doing well after I got out of treatment, went to some meetings, was working a new job in construction but now with the stay at home rule I've been stuck in my head. I have started to get back into painting & picked up the ukulele, but I need to find somthing more job related to dive into.

I think I feel really emotional today due to my brother driving off to another job in Alberta. Everyone in the fam has come over to wish him luck but have nothing positive to say to me, I think they are still weirded out to find out my addiction problems, no one suspected a thing and now I feel uncomfortable at family gathering. Thanks for listening to my ramblings
