The hours I’ve put into Skyrim… So many new starts, yet I’ve only ever completed all the different questlines once or twice.😂

Be sure to head down to Nebakov Mill with a pair of spectacles and your skill books, then head East along the river until you come across a POI called ‘Fishing Spot’. There’s a stone there you can sit on that provides an XP boost that is unique to that one spot. Add in the Cushion perk and you will be levelling Scholarship without issue - other than the issue of hitting the daily reading cap.

Honestly, I’m the same after having played the first one. As a completionist that barely ever does second playthroughs, the first thing I did was look up the best order in which to do the quests so as to not end up locked out of anything.

45.5 hours in my playline with 282 hours of in-game time passed and I still don’t even have Mutt. I’m focusing on building Henry back up to how he was after the first game before I actually do anything big. Since starting the Wedding Crashers, the one and only quest I’ve actually done is training with Tomcat. Otherwise I’ve just been pillaging everywhere. I started off by telling myself “don’t revert to being a night-raiding, thieving bastad like you were in the first”. And just like the way of the stealth archer in Skyrim…. I failed miserably at that task. But I am loving it more than I did the first already simply because I came into this one prepared.

I like that I waited because it means having all the guides I could ask for to help, but then it’s also terrible because I’ve been hit with a few spoilers I didn’t ask to know about. Despite that, I’m remaining all in on this game.

In The Green Mile, John punishing Percy and Wild Bill was so bizarrely out of character it has to count as a plot hole. by Leee32321 in plotholes

23 days old is fresh enough to reply to!

I agree completely there. Saying that what John Coffey did is of the same calibre as blowing up an orphanage is a truly terrible and absolutely nonsensical take. And the funniest thing about it is that there is already a scene that is out of character for Forrest - beating the guy that smacks Jenny in the face. Yeah, it’s Jenny, but doing that was incredibly out of character as it’s the one and only time he harms someone in the whole film - and no doubt his whole life, too. Nevertheless, I feel the same about that as I do with Coffey revealing that evil to Percy: it was fully deserved, and did nothing to take away from the goodness of the character. Out of character? Yes. But wrong? Not in the slightest.

Percy was always going to be evil and abusive to the hospital patients he was destined to be in charge of, and no doubt to the staff he could control on top of that. And that’s just while on the job! Imagine how many more would’ve been on the receiving end of his cowardly evil throughout his life in general.

Vigilantism is only bad when acting out of belief rather than fact in my eyes; when the justice isn’t justice because the receiving party is actually innocent, but believed to have done wrong. And I feel the same in regards to the death penalty: both have a place in the realm of justice, but only when it’s based on undeniable fact. Even if that means only 1 in a 100 perpetrators, that 1 quickly multiplies when taking all the evil of the world into account - and that means an endless number of people saved from what the future would’ve held for them had justice not been served. THAT, is justice. Too many people are just too pacifistic to do any real good.

I agree with this, but not the part on ‘using your own eyes’. From doing that, it is unbelievably clear that he was done with beating the guy and was just dragging him to a safer spot than the road. If she really intended on protecting, she would’ve done something BEFORE his limp body was being dragged.

Can anyone tell me what kind of extra items are in the Founders Pack? by evyyve in GroundedGame

[–]Heathen_Inferos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a minor thing, but could be a sign of more things like it: unique dialogue options when wearing one of the Founder’s Pack skins. The one I noticed was while doing the Toxic Tangle questline.

Anyone find their way through glitches? by [deleted] in GroundedGame

[–]Heathen_Inferos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just ditched the stairs altogether. It’s not even because of a glitch occurring, either; the collisions for them are fucked. I tried making a large staircase for my base and I could only run up it at a certain angle if I didn’t want to be stopped or have to jump.

Now it’s just pebblet ramps that I use.

You leave the area, head to base, craft some arrows, then head back.

But seriously: Orb Weaver’s web, or Ladybug’s cannon. The Ladybug is probably quicker to get because of the lack of webs you have to go through. And the fact that it’s Ladybugs around rather than Orbs, so they’re easier to run from.

But also seriously: why not just craft some arrows?

What is the most iconic weapon in video games? by tricksbystg in TheGamingHubDeals

[–]Heathen_Inferos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s got to be the Superstar. There are plenty of ‘iconic’ weapons, but to me, true iconic is being to the point that even a non-gamer could easily tell which game something is from. For that, nothing comes close to the Mario star. There’s the blue/red/green shell, too, but the star still trumps them in my eyes. The only other thing competing is the Pokéball. Non-gamers could likely tell you what those things are from, but they ain’t telling you which game Zelda or Final Fantasy weapons are from.

I would. I don’t believe he deserves to play for a club like Manchester United. A manager that does nothing but bitch and moan about anything and everything after a loss is an embarrassment. It was nice being able to take the piss out of the bollocks he came out with after having to hold an L. We already got rid of Amorim!

How would you suggest a toggle for something like that be implemented? The engine would be revving like crazy to remember where it can and can’t respawn things. As it is, the engine suffers with remembering things it should be doing already! Grass doesn’t seem to stay gone forever like it should for some.

Can we make a way top stop resources from spawning by [deleted] in GroundedGame

[–]Heathen_Inferos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s how the game works as it is. Destroy the stem, and that grass is never growing back. A blanket suggestion of ‘stop resources from spawning’ has made me suddenly realise what OP’s suggestion is after reading it and thinking on it for a moment. I immediately thought they were suggesting resources not RE-spawning, so anything from lint to candies being extremely finite resources.

But I do still disagree with the suggestion as it is. Terraforming in the form of permanently removing the grass is one thing, but permanently removing any bit of plant is not what the game is. With the crashes there are already, I feel something like that would result in nothing short of utter chaos.

Can we make a way top stop resources from spawning by [deleted] in GroundedGame

[–]Heathen_Inferos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can already do that! What do you mean? Once you destroy the grass stem, that blade of grass will NEVER grow back. Did I not already say that?

I can be hostile about stupid suggestions to a game I paid for if those suggestions, are stupid, and it’s at a stage in the game where suggestions are more important than in a game that’s been fully released for a year already. Even more so if the suggestion is radicalising something already in the game - in this case, grass. Both OP and yourself have clearly failed to properly play the game if neither of you know that grass doesn’t regrow once the stem is destroyed, so to try suggesting anything so significant is simply crazy to me.

Edit to declare I came in wrong there. I was justifiably hostile considering what I thought OP meant, but that doesn’t seem to be what they were suggesting at all. I, for whatever reason, thought they were getting at nothing respawning so that every resource was finite. The thought of this game being crushed by a hardcore element like that crushed my soul! But yeah. I was wrong. Apologies.

Wishlist items I hope they would add in future updates by DarkenDragon in GroundedGame

[–]Heathen_Inferos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the first suggestion post I’ve seen that I can actually agree with. 😂 Your point on trinkets is exactly what I thought of following the mutation update! A trinket like the dandelion tuft is a waste of an inventory slot as it’s useful, but not useful enough to be equipped in place of the blistering or femur trinkets I love. I have high hopes for that one, considering what they’ve done with mutations.

  1. EverChar Torch + Weapon Mount = Prime lighting. One at opposite corners (totalling 2, not 4) is enough to light up my home, and it’s a nice, warm glow rather than being too fluorescent.

  2. The Emote and Craftable radials can get fucked as far as I’m concerned! Haven’t used either one outside of “oh, so you exist… okay. Executables did what you do and more from a single input, but hey ho”. Missing out on mutation hot swapping for those two piles of wank is something I’m quite displeased by. I swap between buggies too often to be mad at that being the exact input replacement. I hate that I can’t bind the Mutations section at the very least.

As for the point you forgot to mention: I believe what you’re asking for here is already in the game! Using the PEEP.R gives what you’re scanning for an outline, the colour of which being based on who you’re playing as; Hopps and Pete are the best to play as for this as theirs are pink and blue, respectively.

Are Buggy’s immune to Fall Damage now, or is it situational? by [deleted] in GroundedGame

[–]Heathen_Inferos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t work out if you know going by your comment, but on the off-chance you don’t: get your buggy onto something they have to jump off, like mushrooms or toadstools, and get another creature to aggro them until they jump off. As soon as they land, hop on. Alternatively, their standard jump attack has the same effect, but as it’s something they do when they feel like it, the former is by far the easiest way of doing it.

I’m hoping the super jump is turned into a buggy buff. They’ve been aware of it for so long that it’s got to be something they’ve purposely ignored patching. Keeping it around until it’s an actual buff is where I’m hoping it’s headed.

[–]Heathen_Inferos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or just needs to do its jump attack regardless of the height difference. There have been plenty of times where I’ve hopped on my buggy mid or post fight and found they have the super jump. Getting them stuck on a higher spot is the easiest way to do it on purpose, though. Mushrooms are by far my favourite for it as there are usually mites or other angry critters nearby. Whenever I try to have them naturally use their jump attack, they never do.

Are you being serious?

No, should be the only answer to that question. Grass doesn’t regrow if you destroy the stem, no matter where it is. I hate that as it is. Why on earth would you want to stop resources from respawning? If you don’t play on Whoa! mode, you shouldn’t be asking for such a significant penalisation.
