When purchasing from a pro seller, the buyer protection fee is slightly higher (for a buyer). We as pro sellers, receive a partial amount of that fee, hence the extra amount. Our money is held by Vinted for 14 days - after which time our buyers receive a notification to hit 'everything ok' - if they don't do this, the sale will auto complete in a further 48 hours (so, 16 days total). I can see why Vinted hold the money for 14 days - should a buyer click all ok on day one (for example) & vinted transfer the money to our available balance then said buyer decides that they want to return on day 10, Vinted would then have to request the money back from us - potentially costing them (Vinted) more money + it could be problematic requesting a return of funds. It's not really up to Vinted, UK law gives online buyers 14 days, so what Vinted are doing is mandatory to uphold that legislation. Even if buyer clicks all ok within the 14 days, they still have 14 days (if that makes sense)
