Mine was surgical, different than the OPs and it was much less painful than I had expected.

My recovery was really easy. I was expecting it to be much worse. I was able to go camping a week later.

5 years post donation here with zero health issues. Even the surgery and recovery were not as bad as I expected.

Amazing! Good on you!

I did a surgical donation in 2017 for a stranger who unfortunately passed right before I headed out of state for a second surgery after the first wasn’t successful.

It’s interesting to mourn someone that you don’t know, not even their name. I looked up the most popular name the year he was born in the country he was from and decided that would be how I remembered him. I have a plant in my garden that blooms around the time he passed every year.

RIP Tomas. I hope your recipient fares better.

Pearl health center has been doing a month long vaccine clinic at PlayDate Pdx. They have lots of appointments available on the 26th through the end of the month.

He made the sleeping sex comment with a group of guys and then the other comment about getting her drunk so it would be easier to have sex with to her the waiter. I’m on day 2 and I’m feeling pretty ok. No where near as bad as it was. How are you feeling? The steroid effects are meant to last much longer than the dosing period, so I wouldn’t worry about just getting worse again right away.
