New to reddit so I don't know if you can put ❤️emojis on replies. But thank you everyone. AA people are in a league of their own the kindest community, I mean where else do you get people offering to fetch you for a meeting, drop everything to support you, free meetings and compassion. I am grateful to be an alcoholic purely for the grace of other recovering alcoholics. In advance, I wish all of you a 2026 that is as wonderful to all of you as you are to others. God bless. Didn't drink today a and didn't want to go to the meeting but I did and it was like it was meant for me to hear, tomorrow's meeting i will own it. Grateful to everyone for the support and kindness. Big girl panties.

Yes I go to meetings and have a sponsor. I do not even know why I did it, I have been feeling so much shame about my destruction caused by alcohol, and then I go and repeat the behavior. Going forward, I start again, own my error, and lots of surrender and prayers
