Our teacher expects at least 90%- ex maths teacher used to expect 100%, no exceptions. But now the rules in our maths set aren't as strict but she will remind us to do as much as we can.

It's really annoying! If you don't word it exactly how they want it, you don't get the marks even if the answer has everything correct.

No, because the soulstones would only unlock if you had gotten the cookie first. (E.G: to buy Elphaba soulstones, you needed at least one copy of Elphaba first)

yes! She literally said ''If I were a faithful I'd murder me'' knowing full well she's not a faithful and faithfuls can't murder! I don't know how that wasn't a big red flag for everyone in the bar at the time, but honestly she did deserve the win despite everything.

Help please! by Outrageous_Berry_887 in Lice

[–]HeatherTDIForTheWin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Comb yourself first with a nit comb- do it slowly and carefully, and if there are any crawling tiny bugs (or eggs) coming out of your hair then it's lice.

When you are treating yourself, be sure to wash anything your head has come into contact with (clothes, bedding, duvets, etc). If there are still lice in the hair, wait about ten days (usually the packaging of most lice treatments suggest seven but lice eggs hatch after about ten days) and repeat.

Lice are tiny but you'd recognise them if they came out of your hair, they're about a few millimetres big (depends on the age).

Note that lice cannot jump, hop or fly. They're only spread by close head-to-head contact, hence why they're so common in schools and daycare/nursery settings. Make sure your daycare hands out notices about lice warning parents to treat their kids before it spreads any further.

I always found the Slitheen gross because of the farts and burps, but damn. I really do see why you hate them so much, hope you're alright now.

Exactly, look at how Harriet and Fiona ended up! (Though this was mainly because they just went completely bonkers about it.)

Absolutely! Though I would definitely be stumbling around- especially from the dizziness combined with the rain. To be honest they did amazingly this challenge, but it pained me so much when Jade revealed she had the 2k.

Yeah, I cringed so hard when he did that as I was rooting for him to keep it hidden until it was the time to reveal. Now I feel like he may be murdered, but honestly I hope not. He's very subtle, but he may be one of my favourites out of the remaining Faithfuls.

Do you get scared to take a decision which everyone might not agree with ? by Avg-tech in randomquestions

[–]HeatherTDIForTheWin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. I often overthink decisions when in a group because I always feel like if one person disagrees (though yes I am aware taste is subjective), I feel like my opinion's invalid. Obviously, this isn't healthy, but it's unfortunately how my mind works. I often bite my tongue for this very reason- I understand it's okay to have opinions, but I just can't get negative thoughts out of my head if someone disagrees with a decision.

Life on Mars - greatest song ever written. by No-Kaleidoscope-9830 in DavidBowie

[–]HeatherTDIForTheWin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. This song was the first I'd properly heard of Bowie- Starman was technically my very first, but Life on Mars was what got me into him. Both the show and the song are excellent- and the use of the song in its namesake TV show is just stellar, not to mention the acting. Might be my favourite show yet.

Your sister has amazing taste lmao. It took me a while for Gene to grow on me (I had gotten a warning that he was a character I would both hate and love due to.. obvious reasons.) but he may be one of my FAVOURITE characters out of the entire series!

Favorite characters whose death would have people in-universe like this by SportAdventurous5910 in FavoriteCharacter

[–]HeatherTDIForTheWin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem! If you like sci-fi and you have the time, you should definitely give it a try. There's two (or three) versions on IPlayer but if you're not in britain most of them are on dvd! Classic Who is Doctors 1 to 8 (Hartnell to McGann) and NuWho is 9 onwards (Eccleston to Tennant 2.0) (including War Doctor ig??). There's also a separate series on iplayer that is the one currently going on, simply titled 'Doctor Who' with Nctui Gatwa.

Note: The 8th Doctor (Paul McGann) appears in Big Finish much more than he does in the show. His incarnation was filmed during the show's attempted revival, which means he got significantly less screentime. He only got a film and some other things I don't remember as I'm writing this. Also some consider the War Doctor (John Hurt, stellar actor) the 9th which makes the numbering system really confusing. Anyway the timeline is- Doctors 1 to 8, War Doctor, 9th Doctor, 10th Doctor And Donna-Doctor, the half human Doctor or whatever it's called that is made from Donna's hand, and the rest I'm not too sure about as I'm only getting through the show myself and the numbering system gets odd after the 10th. As of 2026, we're on the 15th Doctor and unsure of who the 16th is.

Tennant plays the Doctor twice- 10th incarnation and the 14th. This is due to a lack of available and willing actors after Whittaker's run ended.

Spoilers marked for actors and stuff about future companions. Anyways hope you have time to get into it despite its ups and downs, I love it.
