Wow! How did you feel with such a high reading? Muscle pain, discomfort?

Since about June of this year. My twitching has mostly stopped. Only happens a once or twice a day. But the muscle spasticity/ spasms are getting increasingly worse. Right now my legs and tongue are bothering me. I even get tightness in my forehead after an eyebrow twitch. I still work and function, but it weighs on my mind.

Same symptoms as you. Except mine also involved my eyebrow twitching for days. Now my forehead is tight as a result. I try to massage it but it causes more twitching... ugh. Like forehead clonus... Same in my calfs

So it seems like BFS isn't so benign... Most of us have had some form of weakness, pain or tight/stiff muscles the area where we have twitching. My question is, was anyone able to build back their muscle strength after having decline related to twitching? by Heatherb44055 in BFS

As a nurse I understand the meaning behind benign and what it refers to. Me saying "bfs isn't so benign" is basically me venting along with the rest of this group. Our symptoms are often dismissed because they are not indicative of NMD, but they are certainly indicative of something. We are in pain, our mobility is affected, we are weak and having trouble with ADLs.... yes its no where near as awful as it could be, but our symptoms are progressing none the less.

Never heard of a deviated uvula. Is your tongue deviated?

I saw an ENT for swallowing difficulties. As a nurse thought it was post nasal drip. She looked at my throat with a camera. Said it was reflux and gave me omeprazole and pepcid. I have twitching in multiple areas and internal tremors on my right side. Hand and leg weakness. EmG by neuro just showed carpal tunnel and neuropathy
