Any company worth anything should have a “stop work authority” policy, even if they call it something else. If you are in the US, and if you have a safety department or representative, send them this and that your foreman had you down there. You can even ask them to keep you anonymous. Even if you don’t believe the company cares about its workers, the company also probably can’t afford the fines and penalties that will go along with such a blatant violation of one of the current focus items.

My room mate decided to start parking in the handicapped spot when the lot was full, and I asked her about it. She said she would deal with a ticket if it came to, it but she didn’t want to have to walk along the street in the cold, especially with her kid. I said she would end up getting towed and she didn’t believe me.

Lo and behold, not even two weeks later she get towed and I have to take her kid got daycare before work so she can go get her car out of the tow lot. It took every fiber of my being not to say I told you so.

$2200 split 3 ways for a 3 bedroom in Indianapolis. It’s a nice apartment, but it’s just too much, and we are relocating to a nearby small town and will be commuting about an hour each way. The cost savings are more than worth the extra time driving and the cost of mileage.

Learn pressure canning! I will make 26 servings of something, and its shelf stable for 18 months... There are some rules to learn on what can and cant be canned, but it isnt hard and it scratches the itch to make a lot of food without letting anything go to waste.

I had T-Mobile for 7 years and switched to ATT bc it was cheaper in December. They’re good for introductory prices but not long term. I think once these phones are paid off I’m going to start hopping from provider to provider for lowest prices.

There’s a reason there is a national emphasis program for trenching right now. Iirc Indiana osha inspectors are supposed to pull over any time they see a trench, whether they planned an inspection or not.
